Love in 2018?
"I'm looking forward to finding love, true love. A love of my own."
The first thing that came to mind was self-love; the kind of love only you can give yourself.
Honestly, reading some of the relationship drama posted on this site makes me realize that some relationships can be overrated. The posts remind me that a person must be happy with themselves first before they really be happy with someone else.
Building a life with someone and experiencing growth with someone can be fun, but it can also be challenging or stifling.
Just enjoy your life to the fullest. Do what sparks your passion. Maybe you'll meet the right person walking with you through the same journey.

I want true love too but i much rather be single. I’m with a cap but it’s hard! It shouldn’t be this hard, everyday there’s something. I’m trying to not be my typical running self because i tend to run every time and i wanna stay, i wanna grow and learn but I’m starting to question at what price because this situation is draining me. Idk if 2018 is Leo’s love year lol

And ohhh the drama of relationships. I know all too well, which is why I'm mostly okay with being single, and I agree that relationships take a lot of work.

I wouldn't say run, but I will say give it a break. If it causes more pain than happiness then it's not right, at least not right now. I know it's easier said than done (walking away), but that's what I've had to do. If it's meant to be it'll work out somehow, if not you'll find something way, way better. I'm not sure this is our love year either...well some of us, anyway. I'm accepting it, though. Really just appreciating what I have and the ability to do what I do in life, just in general--being given the opportunity by God to see day after day. I'm starting to appreciate that and the little things so much more rather than focusing on "wordly" things. Blessings to us all!

Relationships so far this year have been a fun adventure which may not always have the ending I want. Recently single but enjoying dating life. It's a bittersweet adventure full of life lessons!
Similar to Moonshine Leo's sentiment of respecting our selves, it seems that this year for me is more about self-love and being worthy of love. By that I mean, walking away from toxic romantic relationships, accepting that it's okay when someone doesn't work out (it's not necessarily your fault), and focusing in on what you NEED than what you WANT. You may want a certain type of person but maybe you might need to be alone for a bit to heal or have some introspection on life. Sometimes it's better to be alone then be with a crappy partner.
It occurs to you that the male prospects in your available area may not be to your liking but have you ever considered the possibility that people get so hung up on what they particularly want in a partner that they never truly look at people as a whole? As a result, a person never truly had a chance with you or get to know you. Give a few of those "maybes" a yes instead of completely writing them off lol. If that doesn't work out, have you tried MeetUp? There are some awesome groups for hiking, going out to games, art walks, and other hobbies people meetup for that would increase your chances of serendipitous love.
You're already the best possible woman/wife. Being yourself is the best possible version of you.
