Secrets

They're dirty, they're mean, they're mighty unclean (and NOT AC/DC?): they're secrets. And really, what the muck is it all about anyhow? Why do you do it? Why- in all seriousness- do you end up understating or averting the point of something, or escaping life altogether, through them?

'Don't ask me and I'll tell you no lies'. I don't have secrets, and my escape from life is coming here...lol. I am an upfront person, can't see the point of anything else. BUT, I may understate something to protect someone else's feelings..UNLESS I am looked in the eye and asked out right. Then I will always lay the full facts as I know them to be, on the table and then just deal with the consequences.

Hmmm... Normally I'm pretty straight foreward about most things. The only secrets I keep are the kind that my freinds ask me to keep for them, and the kind it would be damaging to my person if they got out... You know, like that coed sleep over when my parents went on vacation that time... 😛

Hmmm... I don't see how people can escape life all together through secrets. Personally I find that the longer you keep a secret, the less you care about the secret, and the more likely it is it will come out into the open. It sounds more like you're describing lying, Josh. Lying by withholding information is different than just keeping secrets. Any way, secrets aren't necessarily bad, but simply something people do to protect themselves and those they love.
