SIDEREAL LEOS—??

Hello. I just began researching a new zodiac; it is called the vedic, or sidreal zodiac; logistically, it states, when in fact you are born what sign the sun was really in; it is based on the prescision of the sun traveling through the signs. for example; I was born September 6, 1988, yet I am called Virgo, on the tropical or more recognizable zodiac; yet Leo, is the explanation for many other traits in me....anyone care to share if they are a sidreal leo as well—?

I find myself highly idealistic, and stubborn in my beliefs; I am tolerant in beliefs of others which is why I am always willing to hear a new side of an argument, yet will usually, hold onto my way stubbornly, and often stupidly. I like to live life to the fullest, and when given a new oprotunity to try something new, I jump at it!!!! (if I find it interesting). I want to see the world in a better place, and am quite generous, I want people to be happy, and have and feel comfortable around me; I am reserved, but also when I get out around people, of the right kind who stimulate my imagination, or mind; I GET LOOOOOUUUUUUDDDD!!!. I am usually laughing, or sulkingly depressed, but usually don't stay that way for long....I am very strait-forward, and honest in my approach to people, and just want honest communication; don't make it so fancy, we don't get to talk about anything; I like communicating about lot's of things, and also enjoy being dramatic!!.....I want to be an actor, or teacher, becuase I like to inspire people; I think that is another keyword in me.....INSPIRATION; I NEED AN IDEAL, A DREAM, SOMETHING TO SHOOT FOR; if I don't, life almost feels dull, and I GET DESPONDENT, ANGRY, DEPRESSED, JEALOUS, HATEFUL, WRATHFUL,AND SLOTHFUL; I hate routines as well....I hate, HATTTTTEEEE waking up, and doing the SAME DAMNED THING DAY IN, AND DAY OUT!!!. I lovvvvvve a good adventure, and a learning experience; I am also quite determined in my ways.....leo, or virgo—— I wonder......

most importantly.....If I am not heard, or respected in my belief, I am angry and hateful of humans....this is me, also I like to express myself, and create things; I LOVE JUST CREATING SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING; NO RIGHT OR WRONG, NO RULES, NO BOUNDARIES; that's part of the reason I never really liked sports; I can't just be me, there are rules, and boundaries; and you don't just get to be yourself, and do your own thing; you have to be a T-E-A-M!! NO IDIVIDUALS; NO "I" IN TEAM!!. Don't get me wrong, football looks interesting at times, but can be quite repetitive to me.....but MARTIAL ARTS, BOXING!! YEAH!!!!!. They give me chances to shine, and prove my worth, and be proud...THAT PERFECTLY EXECUTED ROUND-HOUSE KICK, THAT POWERFUL, YET FLEXIBLE SHOTGUN KICK....THAT HOOK THAT COULD LEVEL A WALL...IT MAKES ME HAPPY JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!!!!. Most importantly, It's just me against my opponent.....I don't like anyone fighting my battles... besides being a part of a team dosen't give the option for freedom....I LIKE MY FREEDOM, TO WALK, COME, AND GO, AND EXPRESS AS I PLEASE; to experience life on all levels, in all ways.....to figure out what it is, and what I want.....I luv it....this is me....my Sun is in Leo, and my ascendant is in Saggittarius, which would explain why I like seeing people laugh/making them laugh, and communicating MYSELF, AND MY IDEALS TO THEM; PERHAPS THIS IS MY SIGN....IN THE SIDREAL...

Whats your chart look like? Do you have any fire in it aside from your rising sign?

I have heard of sidreal/Vedic astrology. Maybe you can provide a little more information on what this actually is? I tend to hold to what is tried and true and have a hard time believing it any other way once I am convinced of something. But, if you will please explain it to me like am two years old, I will be willing to be a little receptive.

yeah, it could; depending upon when you we're born; cancer reigns sidreally between the dates; july 17 to august 17, so yeah, it is very possible.

Last night, my friend and I were in deep discussion about the zodiac; and how they both sidreal, and the more common tropical, come into play in our lives; I am a sidreal leo, and I have found out with his observant nature as tropical aquarius, that I do in fact approach life in a more fiery, combative, yet open, and fresh way; as a virgo, I would probably just been practical, and down to earth, but for some odd reason, I am more comfortable with the vague, or not-so-obvious. I felt even now with the 'other' virgos out of place in that I react EMOTIONALLY TO THINGS; I TAKE THEM PERSONALLY, AND GET OPPINIONATED; Leonine behavior; I don't have leo anywhere in my tropical chart either....I figured virgos were just volatile that way, untill I found out my 'true' sign; I am very oppinionated, and at times very dramatic, and love every moment of it; I am silly to no end too!!! AND THE KIDS LOVE ME!!! Yes...this is VERY strange...you being a tropical virgo and all, but you give off total Leo energy in almost EVERYTHING you put down here in your entry. I studied and compared the sidreal and tropical and I found out that, in the tropical, only 19 percent of the main stars still fall within the Tropical zodiac twelve part equal division of thirty degrees! These numbers ares still falling as we speak! In the sidreal it is 79 percent, and it is pretty safe to say now that sidreal is more accurate in it's way of describing it's zodiacs than tropical...so Virgoexalted, you may be very well a sidreal Leo!

This is interesting. Maybe that is why I being on the Scorpio/Sag cusp, seem to feel as if I have more Scorpio characteristics than I do Sags. According to sidereal astrology, the day of my birth was the day that the sun entered Scorpio!!!

I'm having a hard time with the whole sidereal thing. I figure, if it was a mistake a long long time ago we have the resources now to correct it. All an astronomer has to do is look up in the sky and determine which constellation the sun is in. It would have blown the basic astrology as we know it out of the water already. I only have one Leo placement (sun) and I am still prideful and stubborn like one. If I feel Cancerian at any time it's because Saturn is the strongest planet in my chart.

I guess it's something I would have to read more into. I dunno. You do act like a fire sign though.

I find myself to be Aries-ish even though I'm a Pisces according to the sidereal zodiac. I sorta think zodiac traits depend on the weather you experienced after you were born.
