...Then, God said: "You each have a part of My Idea. You must not mistake that part for all of My Idea, nor may you trade parts with each other. Each one of you is perfect, but you will not know that until all twelve of you are One. Then, the whole of My Idea will be revealed to each of you."
...And the children left, determined to accomplish the job assigned to the best of their ability, that each might receive God's gift...but none fully understood the task undertaken or the promised gift and when puzzled, they returned, God said: "You each believe that the other gifts are better. Therefore, I will allow you to trade." And, for the moment, each child was elated, considering all the possibilities of the new mission.
...But God smiled as he said: "You will return to Me many times asking to be relieved of your mission and, each time, I will grant your wish. You will experience countless incarnations before you complete the original mission I have prescribed to you. I give you countless time in which to do this but, only when it is done, can you be with Me."
antibling and cap...ouch! especially you antibling...I know how much you hate leos. I understand you making generalizations because of your own experiences, but as a leo, I too am a team player. I would never still anyone's idea, and I certainly always give other people credit that they deserve. I would prefer not to be in the spotlight, and my intentions of others are always good. So...what's up, what's the problem?
...but some kitties are annoying....
Not just kitties 🙂
i find male and female leos to be very different. the female leos i know concentrate more on their strengths and are confident(uuuuh, sexy🙂) and the male leos i know try to take advantage of others, only pretend to be confident. they concentrate on the weaknesses of others and use them to their advantage, which is unfair and disgusting. if you wanna shine, shine but don't try to put others in a bad light.
"I would prefer not to be in the spotlight... "
are you sure? i wouldn't mind seeing you in the spot light 🙂
lol anti, i think she meant us stingy critters. and thanks 🙂
lol lizard, not ALL stingy critters. Lord knows I love mine. Just SOME 🙂
I'm not trying to generalize of course.
haha, i'm sure he loves you, too. madly 🙂
I hope so.
Although I'm sure he wants to wring my neck sometimes too 🙂
well, that's the deal with love. i guess...
lizard...purrffecctt...you're both HOT! hehehe!
Nah, Liz, I would prefer to be outta the spotlight. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a little recognition now and then for a job well done, but I'd much rather be the screw that holds the stage together instead of the nut on stage!
anti...thanks for clearing things up...I know how I can be sometimes, so I can only imagine what it's like growing up w/ TWO leo parents...yikes!
"I'd much rather be the screw that holds the stage together instead of the nut on stage!"
lol are you sure you're not a scorp? 😉
anti, your parents are leos? it was good for something though... i find you a lot more open-minded and easygoing than some fellow scorpios, a lighter version of a scorp. refreshing 🙂
lol ((truthseeker)),
Well it is going to be about 105 degrees today and the air conditioner in my car is broken. Real HOT baby 😛
"... just pick your pocket and get the fuck away,..." the only reasonable thing to do, i'd say 😉
"that's a gemini trait, bub"
what's a gemini trait? specify!
🙂

Leo...the urge to shine...the desire to be. Summer reaches fullness and the days are hot. With growing done, only ripening remains to be completed. Wheat dons its golden husks and the cheeks of crisp apples adopt a radiant blush. The early harvest fruits are the most succulent in this, the Season of Plenty. The world is now a stage and each individuals wants to shine like a star upon its burnished boards.
...And it was morning as God stood before his twelve children and into each of them planted the seed of human life. One by one, each child stepped forward to receive the appointed gift...
"To you, Leo, I give the job of displaying My Creation in all its brilliance to the world. But you must be careful of pride and always remember that it is My Creation and not your own. For if you forget this, men will scorn you. There is much joy in the job I give to you, if you but do it well. For this, you are to have the gift of Honor."
...And Leo stepped back into place.
