I signed my divorce papers and overnighted them back to the Cap. He called me when he got them and said " If you ever need anything and I do mean anything from me at any point in your life, please call me and I will do anything in the world for you." Then he said...I just put $ 200.00 in your account." He sure knows how to get me hot and bothered. LOL

What a class act. He is going to make some woman a wonderful husband. She just can't need very much attention or affection. She would also have to understand that financial stability comes before everything...even her.

He even paid for the divorce because I told him I couldn't afford it and I am the one who wanted it.

I know it's wrong but I actually thought about staying and just having affairs but I couldn't do that to him.

I hope I don't regret this later in life.

There's always that quiet moment when the dust begins to settle, and doubts creep in.

I was fortunate that when I was sitting in that position, a good friend of mine called-- she listened to my "what ifs...."-- then she laughed (and got me laughing), and reminded me why I did what I did.

Love her for that. 🙂

Don't entertain that thought for too long-- paying for the divorce seemed nice, until I considered that maybe he should have been trying to convince you to stay, instead.

Don't doubt yourself.
