So pushy

Why do people think we are so pushy? There was a girl that I liked, and maybe I'm just dumb, but it seemed to me that she would hang out with me if I talked her into it somehow. So I tried, and then she accused me of being too pushy and won't talk to me at all now.

Well, I imagine that if I would have just let it go, then maybe she would have decided to hang out with me eventually. Sometimes these things take time and you need to be patient right?
