Taking Center Stage.

So as we all know leo's have a knack for putting on a show..whether it be on a real stage, at home, or just with friends. As well as this they're known for their creativity..and talents. Do we have any show leos around? I personally make art and sing...i love the stage but i think it's mutual.

or another question. do you think leos being refered to as dramatic and cravers of spotlights is complete rubbish?
I know a leo or two who are really shy and would rather be out of the lime light.

I seriously hate this label. Really. My mom, who had the minimal amount of knowledge of astrology when I was a kid used call me dramatic because I was a leo. It used to piss me off because I linked it with not being taken seriously. And she only said it when I was upset about something. I'm close with her but this one thing made me not want to tell her things. Funny, this is how my interest in astrology happened lol!!

I think we are an extremely passionate sign and it shows in forms of open self-expression for some.

Wanting the limelight is not important to me. Could be all the earth in my chart.

I'm quite surprised this thread hasn't gotten very many responses so far. I think it would be interesting to know how more leos feel about the whole creativity, talent and spot light thing.

I love being in shows and on stage. I perform dances and Im in a lot of plays and I always want to be in front of everyone.

im the only dramatic leo i know..but every leo i know likes to be in the lime light. oh and seriously, no one takes me seriously because im funny and i joke around a lot and its absolutely annoying that no one takes me seriously. so like when im being serious people laugh anyway.

Yeah this is a good topic. I definitely don't think Leos being referred to as "dramatic and cravers of the spotlight is complete rubbish". I really think that even the most grounded, meek, non-attention whore Leo still loves attention from those closest to them..I'd even go so far as to say they expect it. I'm not saying they need CONSTANT attention, as astrologers would have people believe, but I know that I, personally, don't demand attention, but if my closest friends or family members act like I'm not important to them, I get really depressed. And as for being dramatic, I think that we do often come across to others as dramatic without even realizing it, simply because of the passionate way in which we express ourselves.

Am I a show Leo? I don't know if you'd call it that...I am into theater, I love "flashy", exciting movies and shows...I adore most forms of art, and I love to express myself creatively through poetry, music, and drawing/painting. I have to admit that I do get a rush from being on stage, but I rarely put myself in that position.

I'm a comic and I try to get onstage like every night. But, out of 30 other comics that I know, only two or three are leos. I do get nervous when I go on, but it doesn't stop me. I actually get more nervous about doing well than about not doing well. I don't know if thats normal.

Do you think it's because the pressure will be on to always perform well? Like, now you have to top your last performance banini?

no, it's like when I do really really well at anything and everyone is cheering, it's really difficult for me to contain myself, and I often start laughing hysterically, and then I get embarrassed and I can't stop laughing, so I'm usually worried that will happen I think.

Well when that happens, as soon as you know they are going to cheer think about something serious. Think about all the starving people in the world or something. Or how many people in the audience have assaulted their gramma. Or, babies born on crack. That should do the trick 😉
