Depends on the Leo, we are hard to match up with in general.
Other fixed signs seem to work for some Leos... meaning dating Taurus, other Leos, Scorpio, or Aquarius.

I’m a gemini with leo moon and I attract leos myself but I am rarely attracted to them beyond the physical appearance. They are so damn hot but problem is they know they are hot lol so I sense overconfidence and vanity and too much ego... makes me run away and makes me want to turn them down so they know how to put their feet on the ground 😢 thats for the ones I have met. Gemini is a pretty solid air sign for Leo long term.

It depends. I think out of all of the signs Leos are hard to place with another sign, so it really comes down to our placements. The nature of being a fixed sign makes it tricky because usually only fixed signs understand each other on certain levels. What Mutable or Cardinal signs may consider clingy, Fixed signs may consider loyal.
Then add on top of that that we are also Fire, which creates more issues. As Fixed signs Earth and Water elements make sense as both are looking for structure, stability, and emotional understanding (for the most part). I don't think there is a best match, just need to find that one person who has patience or know how to give and receive love.
For me, I can give all my love and patience to a person but if I deem that person uses it more than giving, I'd start pushing him to give more (stress). Like a make or break situation, I like the love to be balanced else I'd go insane or drive the person away.
