Why does it have to be this way?

I'm really disheartened by the fact that I tend to have difficulties establishing and maintaining relationships with women anyway but it's hardest with leo women by far... and i'm a leo!


Every time I meet one we hit it off very well. There's always a good rapport between us but almost instantly they start exhibiting behaviors I have a hard time tolerating. I won't even know they're leos at first until I find out their birthdays later. One general trend I notice... they almost always have female issues. Myself included but in a different sense. I love men and women equally. I see the pros and cons in both genders and I have no biased opinion towards either. I generally befriend men more easily due to my hobbies/interests/career choice. Plus I have a tomboyish streak and a laid back disposition. Women, in the long run, tend to have problems with me. Leo women in particular. They tend to become more catty, irrationally jealous of any attention i receive, manipulative, & mean-spirited. Ugh... why?

Yep, I have the same problem with Leo women too. I have quite a few in my life, but they are hard to deal with. Catty and always seem to be competing with me. Ninja, you and I are on the Virgo cusp so I think our "LEO" traits are a bit more grounded with the earth sign influence. Dont you have aqua rising too? I swear, I am a Leo but I dont act like the female Lions that I know. Im so much more like a the males, I think and every male in my life tells me I am more like a guy. I befriend men easier as well. IDK why, but it is difficult to maintain the relationships.

I think it maybe a general overall thing with ALOT of women. Maybe it's not necessarily a Leo Female generalisation but that most women in society feel they have to "Compete" with the other women or something to get all the men wanting "her"?? I have NO idea, but there's a lot of cattiness going on with tons of women, though I'm sure they come in all signs.

Absofrigginglutely! I think LeoLady and I discussed this on another thread (ages ago). It's not just with men, but in almost every conceivable facet of their lives - their jobs (more catty and vindictive with the women versus the men); activities their children are involved in (bragging rights "my child is smarter, stronger, faster than yours"), it's endless. Also, what absolutely makes me go out of my mind is the fact that women feel it's necessary (specifically in front of men they are interested in) to put down another woman. Be it, "Ewww, she's a little chunky isn't she," to "That dress does NOT look good on that rail thin girl does it," to "Maybe someone needs to give her a brush or a comb because her hair is atrocious!" I've heard all of these things come of womens' mouths, and far worse. But in general, I don't even think it's just about competing sometimes, I just think women can be catty. I can go out with my male friends, and they don't comment on a guys shirt, walk, hair, etc. With my female friends they comment on everything. I had to say to one of my girlfriends last week, "Leave those poor people alone and mind your own damn business." She was just going on and on about these other people at the bar. It was silly and childish!
