Hello my Libra Sisters

I noticed we all work in the arts. (bizzare)

I am thinking of a career change. I have started fundraising for a museum and I love it! I really love sales. I am thinking about making the switch full-time and concentrating on corporate fundraising.

How did you figure out what it was you wanted to do?

What is your dream job?

I think my dream job is to own an art gallery.

Yes, I would love to own an art gallery as well.

I studied business management and had several dull jobs along those lines. It wasn't until I started what I am doing now, digital textile printing, that I really became truly happy.

Once you have a job that you really love, success will follow automatically.

How you get into the fundraising field? I think I would enjoy that becuase it sounds like a sociable job. What kind of degree do you have?

I have a couple of degrees in art and photojournalism. I also have a part degree in Sociology and International Development. (It is far from finished.)

Basically, I just applied and they hired me. I played up any sales experience I had in the past. It is a VERY sociable job. I just love it. It is challenging but fun. I only do it part time. I am a photographic librarian full-time which is so boring I seriously want to stick things in my eye. lol!
