Confused over a Libra man! Help!

I hope u have time 2 read this! About 6 or 7 yrs ago while in college, I tutored a Libra guy who lived in the dorms, as I did. We lived in the same building. We got to know each other, but I had no idea he was interested in me. & I wasn't interested in him. He invited me to a get-together he was having. I went and met his friends. Hours later, it was just Libra & me. He was asking questions & said that we're getting to know each other. I liked that he was so interested in my thoughts. Later, we were sitting outside. He said he wanted to kiss me, & I let him. We made out in his room. I think that day or the next, we ended up going all the way. & it was like that for a few months. Still, I didn't know if it was just a fling for him or what. I started to like him a lot but was too scared to ask him what it was we were doing. In December of that same semester, I told him that I'd like to hang out with him before we went on break. I told him twice. He never called. Later, I saw him hanging out with his friends. Of course, he was trying to act like nothing around me. So I thought I had my answer: I was just a fling for him. During the break, I started seeing a guy that I had met a couple of months back. When school started again, I told Libra. I wanted to get a reaction out of him, but he acted cool. Later, Libra comes around is being super attentive towards me. But I thought he was just sorry he lost his fling. Then he tells my friend that he really liked me and was jealous of the guy I was seeing (we had already stopped seeing each other at that point, but my friend didn't think it was his place to tell Libra). Later, Libra and I started doing our thing again. It was like this for a couple of years. I fell in love, and he told me that he loved me but that I was too good for him. He's very insecure and doesn't think highly of himself. Anyway, we ended badly--a lot of pain. He started seeing this other girl; we'll call her Crazy *****. Months later, I started seeing somebody, too. I loved him, but I never got over Libra. I thought about him constantly. And I knew that someday, we'd be reconnected again. Sure enough, Libra came back to me after four years of dating this girl. They broke up in February, and he and I became friends again. We hung out, and he confessed to me that he should've been with me and that he was really sorry for everything. He also said he was stupid and an idiot. Argh! Comment cut off. Here's the continuation: Little did he know, though, that I knew for a while that my boyfriend was not the one for me. I just never wanted to face it because he's really nice. Obviously, my hanging out with Libra made me face the truth. Libra and I have always gotten along so well! We're like best friends. My boyfriend knew about my Libra & was OK with my hanging out with him. I couldn't stop hanging out w/him, even though both Libra and I both agreed we shouldn't hang out anymore. But, there we went. We never did anything, though. I never cheated on my boyfriend. My bf & I decided to separate for a week. I hung out with Libra on Thurs of that wk. I told him about the separation. Later, his bartender friend, who was hammered, loudly proclaimed Libra's love for me in front of him! Very awkward. She said that in all the years he's gone to that bar, I'm the only woman he's ever taken. He & I ended up in my car, & he kissed me. We made out passionately. He told me he loved me to death but was scared of being with me because he thinks I'm really smart & that he's an idiot. Before we said our goodbyes, I told him I loved him, & he said he loved me too. I haven't heard from him since. That Sat., we were supposed to go to a friend's BBQ. He said he couldn't go. I asked if he was avoiding me, & he said no. I saw him on Friday & asked what happened. He said he had to hang out with his mom. See, his sister is dying of cancer, so I don't want to get upset with him for flaking out. I know he helps her. I didn't bring anything up when I saw him on Friday bc he looked stressed. He was at work; he works at our alma mater. That evening, I saw he was online on FB. I sent him a msg saying "hi." He saw it but didn't respond. I finally wrote him a long msg asking if & why he was ignoring me. He hasn't read it! It was a very calm msg, & I assured him that I understood he has a lot going on in his life right now & that he's not committed to me. I also told him that I'm not asking for a commitment from him either. My bf & I broke up on mutual and good terms. I assured Libra that it was not his fault, bc he had told me that he didn't want to be "that guy," the guy who comes between a relationship. So, Libra men, why do you think he's avoiding me?? What should I do? I want an answer from him!

I can find myself in your story in some ways... He avoiding you because he never want something serious. And not only this, Libra like to play much... And he is feeling that he can have you anytime he wants because you accepted always to go out with him and so on.. when he disappeared for a while and got back to you again. another reason it is what you said, maybe for your clever mind , Libra is afraid of a clever woman. For sure you saw to him something that he was not expected from you, it means , you saw up you are clever, maybe more clever than him and they no like this.
It is a wasting of time to waiting for a Libra ! Do not do this anymore and go further in your life for another man. They ignore you, they disappear, they appear again , they change your plans when you are not expecting , etc.. My Libra broked my heart in this way too. He told me he loves me when hugged me. Then I told him to keep in touch , but he was looking longer at me and didn't said anything. I never imaged that this was the end, because it was too beautiful ...
Libra destroy your life , just move on ! Do not wasting your time witth this man, you said right, yyou was just a fling for him, but nothing more. He will go away again and he will back again to you when he wants because he knows this things was working before, why not further...

Thank you, Alisi. I still want an answer from him. I hate to believe that he's playing games after everything we've been through. He even told a friend of his, in front of me, that he would love to me with me. At that time, though, I was with my boyfriend. I don't understand how someone can be this malicious and cold-hearted.

Because these guys are retarded when it comes to matters of the heart.

Just sit back and wait it out and see what he does next. If this continues on for a week or two you might want to readjust your thinking on what this situation really is.
