Yes.

I think that along with our indecisiveness, our ability to learn fast and eagerness to mentally challenge ourselves leads us to take on things without taking the time to figure out if it will take us in the direction we really want to go in. Of course its not like we have any solid idea of what direction that is anyway. I can't count the number of jobs I have had that falls into this category and that I also had false desires to stick with because I picked them up fast and ate up the kudos giving me a false sense of satisfacion and appreciation for the job or company.

What I have learned about myself regarding career:

The task has to play off of my talents not "skills".

It has to be complex and combine mental and physical work but be predominantly mental.

It has to involve working with others but either in a seperate but equal or ladership capacity.

It has to allow me to be autonomous and can not involve needing to drink the "corporate cool-aid"

It is best if I work for myself with others not for others.
