I think there is a loose interpretation of the word flirt. Some people take it to mean you're trying to bed someone. Others think it means trying to get someone to like you. Libras like to make everyone around them feel good. We want our environment to be comfortable and welcoming. It's all about putting a smile on someone's face for me. I give a lot of compliments to everyone. Some men find that flirtatious. People who know me know I'm just being friendly.

Anytime a compliment is given between the two sexes, it's deemed sexual in nature or flirtatious. So I think that's where it comes from.

Hm... I guess to me flirtation is trying to get someone to like you. Interesting answer though. Do you, as a Libra, ever find yourself kissing someone, or at least not stopping them just to appease them? If a guy takes you out and you're not interested, if they kiss you do you allow it?

No. My ex would always tell the story about how I "played" him when he first tried to kiss me. He went for it and I leaned way back instinctually because I wasn't expecting it. I hadn't made up my mind that I wanted to kiss him yet. I don't do things I don't want to do for other people.

Interesting. That's different from what the internet deems as "typical" Libra behavior. I don't mean to generalize. I'm only commenting on what I've read. I'm much the same way. I first instinct is to back away from physical contact with the opposite sex. Some girls take this as me not being interested. I always thought it was just common courtesy not to invade someone's personal space until you know them better.

Well, there you have it. From now on, all Libras must violently shove and smack and stomp people throughout their daily life, and grunt like irate babboon if anyone dares to greet them.

cause you know, manners = wet panties

Oddly enough, my girlfriend said that my manners turned her on. Well, my chivalry. I guess opening car doors and pulling out chairs was a turn on to her. I thought it was just what you were supposed to do.

I agree, but I think that nowadays, common decency is so uncommon, that it's now conflated with flirtation.

Being a gentleman these days is equated with being weak to a lot a guys these days. It's like they may do it for the first girl they ever liked, then when it doesn't go right, they think "Well that didn't work. Eff all that chilvary BS. I'll just sit back and let her do all the work." A lot of men these days are big babies.

No matter how many times it's been thrown in my face, I'll never stop being chivalrous. My dad taught me from an early age you treat every female like a princess and your wife like a goddess. Period.
