Libra and Taurus?

My sister is a taurus. We didn't get along for the first 20 years of our lives, but now we are very close. We have the occasional stupid spat still but we get over it pretty quick.

As friends, female libras and female taurus are the worst combination I have EVER experienced. Taurus doesn't understand libra and talks about libra behind their backs. I know a lot of other libras on this board have experienced the same thing.

As loves, the attraction is good in the start. Taurus grounds libra, but libra needs more space and takes more time to get connected to Taurus than taurus would like. It's not a lasting connection.

I haven't had a lot of luck with Taurus. As a very general rule, I find they tend to be way too domineering and emotionally unstable for my liking.

My brother is a Taurus and we NEVER got a long, until very recently. I still find him a bit too volatile for my liking, although his wife has really, REALLY settled him down. I think the fact that he is across several time zones helps. Even my Taurus

I do have a very good Taurus friend. I think he was in love with me at one point till I told him the truth. That we fight WAY. TOO. MUCH for me to ever consider it. I love him. He is a great, great man but I could not handle the stress of constant confrontation in an intimate loving relationship. It would break my spirit and we would both be unhappy. But I LOVE getting together with him and talking and doing stuff. I really think we would do anything for each other. I am desperately looking for a girl for him. He has a huge heart but he needs more of a power struggle in his relationship than I could ever offer. He seems to get off on conflict a little. It would seriously kill me.

I had a Taurus best friend for awhile but I just found her again too emotionally unpredictable and explosive for me. In the end, she seemed like an opportunist who was really only ever in the friendship for the benefits I could provide.

I also have a number of uncles who are Taurus but only know one well enough to say that he too has a volatile temper that I do not trust.

So that has been my experiences.

Yeah. People were telling me things she was saying but I just chalked up to misunderstanding. It wasn't. I am still, 5 years later, shocked at some of her behaviour. It was a huge heartbreak.

I'm a Libra and my friends all seem to be Taurus. We get along great, give and take on both sides but that probably is because we are friends. We never seem to have much dramas or fight at all.

Then I have a daughter that is Taurus and mostly it is smooth, but we dont get on and she is one eyed about any situation which frustrates the heck out of me as I'm always looking at both sides of the coin. She rubs me up the wrong way personally, Probably because she is my daughter and I have higher expectations of her around the home. In fact living with a Taurus can bring in a whole different perspective because there is a huge difference in the relationship between my Taurean friends and my daughter!

There's a lot to be said about Taureans and their confrontational ways. I know of 3 personally and they all have difficulty with any relationship because they want to dominate, to take control of every damned situation. Its awful to watch. From my opinion it would be VERY difficult for a Libra to take that given they dont like confrontation....Taureans seem to thrive on it.

A friend of mine is a Taurus and she has dated every starsign under the sun....she is in a current relationship with a Leo and OMG a Leo being dominated? can you imagine the unbelievable fights they have? but she seems to live for it...he on the other hand despises the possibility of WWIII errupting.

I couldnt even imagine a Taurus/Libra relationship.....they make great friends but again, can be very cutting and downright insulting at times. A libra would need to have very thick skin LOL

Hey Chatz, i havent experienced that with any of my friends but certainly with my daughter (cutting & insulting)

yeah the insults and they way they are hurled? ouch LOL. My friend, although she has been good to me, is ALWAYS ruining her relationships, always. She expects so much, never satisfied with being happy, as though, she lives for war - argghhh
