Libra Female/Cancer Male

I just met the most wonderful man, especially having a string of jerks, and then lack of anything. He's a Cancer male. Now the problem is that in the past I have had experience with them getting attached to me and then me just hurting them beyond belief. Not intentionally. I just get sick of them. But this guy is really sweet and it has been a while, so should I just change my ways and try it. Or should I bail now? And what should I or shouldn't I do in handling them?

Sorry to say but most cancer/libra relationships usually doesn't work out. I'm a libra female and the
first guy I dated was a cancer and it didn't work out. The girl he dated before me was a libra and their relationsip didn't work out. My father and mother-in-law are both libra's and were in relationships with cancer's and it didn't work out. I don't know what it is that attract these to signs together but it seems as if the cancer/libra relationship doesn't work out. Not to discourage you because if its meant to be it'll be no matter what sign the person is. As long as its not hard to keep your relationship together. My mum is Cancer and dad is Libra the opposite of you if it does matter. I think they got along well. We are a family of four (all now adults and independent) and in my opinion they got along better than most couples do. They did'nt break up despite many problems. this is the update. he told me he's fearful of commitment(not good for my libra soul) but he is the kindest most wonderful man I have ever met. We have a lot fun together and talk about everything. And he does want to see me a lot. But when he says something like that to me and then I say yes, I do like to see you more often I fell like there is a coldness that shows up briefly. I can be emotional and I do have a tendency to get into things too quickly, but I'm trying to pace myself with this one. I don't want to lose this one, that much I know!
