libra has any feelings when talking to an ex?

My libra(venus in scorpio) and I brokeup a week ago.We had to breakup out of compulsion and not by choice.We really liked each other but his parents didn't want us together(society issues) so after a lot of fights with them he had to reluctantly end things and said we have to move on.All this was last week's sunday and i respected his decision.There was no begging,pleading or crying from my side.We have to meet each other almost everyday since we go to same university and are classmates. He was trying to be normal with me last week but he did avoid me many many times.Then on wednesday he asked my best friend how do i feel about him now and she said i am still crazy about him.Then he asked me if what she said was true and i told him "i am not the kind who can feel something for someone today and not feel anything tomorrrow.My feelings won't just disappear but i'll make sure to not let them resurface so you dont feel uncomfortable.You maybe good in moving on fast but i am not.".He angrily said "you only think i have moved on" and he walked away. Thursday was okay but Friday he avoided me a lot.Then on Sunday(2 nights ago),he saw me online late night and texted "still online? Who are you chatting with?" and we ended up texting till 3am. We chatted like before only except when he said "my best friends think i am lying to them about our breakup.They feel i am lying that we are not together anymore because i try to talk to you normally like nothing happened".

I don't know what's going on. Is he talking to me just as friends or does he still have feelings for me? Thank you!!

Feelings never die. If there is nothing you can do to salvage your relationship due to cultural/religious god complex slash bullshit family reasons then maybe you should avoid each other.

cultural family issues is what it is...Avoid,yes.Friends,we're trying.

But still curious to know if libra males are capable of trying to talk to an ex without any of those feelings.
