Libra: In an out of my life

Firstly, I can understand the Sagittarius/ Libra compatibility to an extent but not on a romantic level. We were together for 4 months until he broke up with me a few weeks ago. He stated he really wanted us to stay friends because that's what our relationship was based on: A firm, comfortable and loving friendship. However, on two occasions he's said he wanted to break communication for a while but a few days later he'd be the first to make contact, leaving me very confused. He still wants to attend all these festivals with me and hang out and stuff. All of his other exes, he just doesn't talk to anymore and has deleted them out of his life. But for some reason he still wants some kind of involvement in my life. He said quote "seeing you on social media having fun is getting to me a little bit" the hell?

Does the fact that he keeps telling me he wants to stay friends some kind of peace offering or is it genuine? Because I don't mess around with friendships and I'm not one for a peace offering.

He's just being a cakey eaty asshole, tbh. He's keeping you around as a backup in case something else better doesn't come along.

The ones I was involved with pulled the same crap and the only reason I was kept around on decent/good terms was for their own benefit. One wanted a fallback for sex and another tried to keep me around as a back up.

It's confusing because he's full of shit.

He broke up because he didn't see you as THE one, but is unsure, hence stringing you along as a "friend" and making dipshit comments because he can't make up his damned mind.

Sever ties, keep away and let yourself heal. I've seen you post about this issue before. Drop it, you'd be stuck in this limbo if you don't let yourself move on. Find the strength to pull away and let yourself get over it.
