Libra's and eye contact

Okay; so I've been wondering for the past few days about this. Mostly because of today and I've noticed more today while I was sitting down and eating my lunch before I was going to workout. So here goes.

Why do Libra's stare? Let me explain, it's not a typical, I look at you and when you look at me I shy away.
This is more like, locking eyes for a long period of time, to the point where you have to look else where cause you can't take it, then you look back at them and they're still looking at you? It's a silent searching kind of stare, pupils get dilated as well. There is no facial expression; so you can read in to the libra; it's almost as if on purpose.

Is there a reason for this? I don't know maybe is me; or maybe I've never had someone look at me for such a long period of time and it kind of made me uncomfortable. Not like "Ewww." More like, "Why is this person staring at me so hard." We were siting in the same table across from each other. I don't know; still will like to hear what you Libra's have to say; male or female.

He's a libra ; his Venus is in Scorpio and his Moon is in Cancer. At first I thought I was bugging out....but I noticed it more today. He was staring; I've never had someone stare at me the way he did; with a lot of intent, well depth.
I looked at him, and he kind of sat forward, looked down momentarily, then looked back up again, and just stood there staring. I kind of smiled, and looked away. I really didn't know what to do. When I looked back at him he was still staring.

Are you sure he is a Libra? Could he be a Scorpio? They are more famous for their staring. Or maybe he is a Libra with lots of Scorp placements? I think I may be guilty of this. I have some Scorp placements (rising, venus, & uranus). I definitely hold eye contact when speaking to people. Even if they look away, I still hold my gaze. I'm just taking them in. Disecting. Analyzing. Soul gazing. Nothing to be afraid of, lol.

I'm the same way, I love eye contact. I didnt know it had something to do with scorp placements though. I have moon, mars, saturn & pluto in scorp. I frequently find myself in staring matches with strangers, they stare & I stare back.

Don't know; maybe I'm reading to much in to it.

Are you sure he was looking at you? I mean he was across the room.. he could have been zoning out, looking in your direction.

No he wasn't across the room. He was sitting at the same table with me. He told me he was going to join me. I told him that's fine with me. We talk fitness and stuff like that. For example; today he wrote a workout plan for me. I forgot my pre workout, so he gave me some of his. Made a joke about taking it like he does, to just put a scoop of powder in my mouth and chug water.
When he was done for the day; he went upstairs, and helped me, spotted me for the last two sets. Then we talked about him promoting himself, as far as his fitness, and meal plans, work out plans and such.
I know him, but the stare thing, I didn't notice that until today.

Like I said; maybe I felt that way cause I've never had someone stare at me like that before. Usually people shy away, he didn't when I caught him starring.

Calling him on it may make him more conscious of it. it comes naturally so he's not aware that it's making you a little uncomfortable. I'm assuming this is someone you are interested in or are at least friends with? If this is just some dude staring at you then I'd be concerned.

Yes he's a friend; has become a good friend. If I catch him doing it again, I'll address it.

I feel like both, but I'm more darker than your average aqua. Your rising is scorpio, right? It could be why you're growing more into your scorp traits. I see the same with myself, I'm becoming aries like with age.

im a libra and these are my placements as well...and your post is like hearing myself...my friend that I adore has always told me I stare....I caught myself doing it when she addressed it...why do I do it? its a bit like what sweetz said...analyzing, definitely dissecting and soul gazing...I only do this to that friend though...and its mainly because I cant figure out why shes so special to me...I cant believe someone like that is in my life...corny I know..but I guess its being in a type of "awe" with that person...at least for me its like that...

Haha, I was gonna say Venus in Scorp influence for sure.

Not corny at all; I also believe this might be his feelings. I have a way I guess of motivating people as far as what they want to under take in life(career). I've been doing that a lot with him. Don't know why, I just do. Whenever he comes up with an idea, I willingly listen, then give him my perspective on it, and he goes from there.
He told me he wants to open up his own fitness business, I in turn did research for him. Yesterday he was showing the emails he received from two franchise, and I told him that was good. To forward it to me so I can take a look at it.

We also talked about stuff we like to do or want to do. And when I told him I like aports(boxing, football, anything contact) want to do a cross country tour; I want to go white water rafting, ect. He told me I sound like him, that it's the same things he wants to do and is in to.

So I think more is how you explained. Thank you so much for your answer_??_.

I have a few Scorpio placements myself, and I do like to maintain constant eye-contact and visually analyze people while I'm having a conversation with them. But I think that's mostly due to the fact that I was raised with the notion that it's rude not to look at someone when they're speaking to you.

Outside of conversation, I rarely (if ever) gaze at people. When I do, either there is something very striking about their appearance or I'm taken by them in some sort of way, but even then, I will quickly avert my gaze the moment they catch me staring.

So to the OP: I think your friend isn't looking away because he's quietly admiring you, and is either comfortable with you realizing it or he's so entranced that he simply can't take his eyes off you. 😛

Maybe...lol. But I'm one that dislikes to assume, because I don't like making an ass of myself. So for now, I'll just relax. If it happens again, I'll point it out, I usually do things in a joking manor, it's nerves I guess. But it's probably how I'll address it to him.

He's a good friend and to be honest; due to the current circumstances I believe, or hope he doesn't over step. He falls under a cusp so I hope his Virgo/Libra, mostly Virgo keeps him thinking rationally and logically.

I have Venus, Neptune, and some other planet in Scorpio. I look at stuff and people all the time. But I'm "doll-faced" and I smile a lot, so nobody is ever bothered by it.

"Mine" likes to stare into my eyes lots unless we're literally in each other's faces, but she only has Scorpio in one place that I know of(I don't know her time of birth) and that would be in Saturn....

Okay so this is the problem. Yes, Libra is a friend, I treat him as such. I'm naturally a nice person, that's just me. So this is why I'm trying not to read in to it so much. Cause I'm sort of like him, just naturally nice. Don't know if that's my Virgo moon, or my Venus in Aqua; or my Libra ascendent or just my Sun sign.

This is the dilemma; current happenings. Libra asked my BF(we have been together for years now. Had a small break up, but we are back together.) if he can take me out on a date on Feb 14, it's a winery and Libra knows I like wines and never been to a winery. He's also taking me to dinner to an Italian restaurant that specializes in wines. He told me the wine menu has over 150 selections.

We were doing boxing drills and he jokingly said(I honestly thought he was kidding) "Oh, the Italian restaurant I went to last night has the biggest wine menu. I think your like it, as a matter a fact we're going on a date." And he chuckled his kid like chuckle cause he's always laughing. And I just smiled and said "okay."

But I wasn't taking him seriously. Anywho; he asked my BF, and BF said yeah he has no problem with it.

Libra also asked me to go shopping with him; wanted my opinion on some jeans he was going to buy. I told him I couldn't go and he said "I understand, there will be a next time."


My BF and I aren't jealous; he's gone out with female friends of mine, who are engaged, and it was all innocent. We are just like that; and have that much trust in one another. My BF is a Cap with Cap moon, Venus in Aqua and Mars in Aqua.

Libra's moon is in Cancer and his Venus is in Scorp.

So could I still be jumping in to conclusions? When we talk he's always nervous running his fingers through his hair, and looks up at me, well down cause he's pretty tall. He's always smiling, looking at me intensely, to honest he very joyful. I've noticed he does run his hands through his hair a lot when he talks to me.....lol. I asked him what he puts in his hair and he was more then happy to tell me.

Anywho; at this date I might have to be straight forward and ask him if he has a minor crush on me. Or I might chicken out and say nothing cause I just hate awkward moments with people. I'd rather wait and have the person tell me and then act on it accordingly.

What do you guys think?

i think its a scorpio rising thing or scorpio placement... i stare at people all the time and sometimes its just stronger than me... like i see someone with weird tattoos on the face in the metro and i keep going back to look and im fully aware that im staring and i shouldnt and i try not to look and then im just awkward! or when someone is very pretty i stare as well.. and my boyfriend keeps being weirded out because i stare at him a lot loll

I haven't thought that one out. But I will explain to him that he needs to keep himself in check. He's a mutual friend of me and my BF, recent friend. And the first time he met me the first thing that came out of his mouth was "Oh my god your so pretty."

Since then; he's been very attentive. He told me he loves talking to me cause our conversations are interesting and I motivate and inspire him.

I did tell him he stares and he laughed and said, "yeah , it's cause I'm figuring stuff out; or trying to read the person I stare at."

To be honest I'm racking my brain. Because I don't know what to do. I've never had a mutual friend of me and my BF be so attentive, it's like "is he extra nice, or does he have a crush?"

Cause me ; I'm nice and usually motherly with my friends. I show my appreciation through cooking; do thoughtful things, like if they need something and can't get it I'll get for them.

So I don't know if he's like that as well. So I'm just waiting to see how things unfold. I do remind him that yeah I'm nice and caring with all my friends , male and female. So he can remind himself.

However; my cousin already pointed it out as well; she saw a workout vid of mine, I was leg pressing and he's in the vid spotting and she told me "he does have a crush on you. I can tell by the way he looks at you."

I don't know; I hate situations like this. It really would suck if he puts me in that position.

During sex, he will tell me..almost demand me, to look at him...look into his eyes. This he did from the first time we had sex. It is very powerful and intense for me. He is an analyzer and tester too *smile*

Lastly...the first time we saw each other was across the room. We both saw each other for the first time at the same time. We both looked away then looked right back and held a very long intense stare before we jerked back to what we were doing. We've discussed this on a couple of occasions because we both agree we were just so attracted to each other.

Don't really have a point to this. Guess I'm just saying..yea...we Libra's love eye contact. After all, the eyes are the window to the soul and that's romantic. Libra's are known for their love of romance and charming ways. It's part of how we allure those we desire.

I do this with friends, yes, to an extent...but it's more so with someone I'm physically attracted to.

I'm not saying you don't love your current bf, just that it's seems to be there is something more than friendship beginning to take hold between you and your friend.

Be careful tho...those Libra men know EXACTLY what they are doing to you..and they LOVE women to be attracted to them. Charming devils! God knows I love mine, lol. They also become distant at times...cold and unaffectionate. Its like when they get you, they don't know what to do with you. but...given the space they need, they will always come back and be their wonderful, sexy charming selves again.

Mine says he just "gets into his feelings sometimes". And that he has a hard time expressing his emotions so he shuts down to sort it all out.Scares them, I think....FYI...we've been together 2 and a half years *smile*
