Me and this Libra... Advice needed. Charts inside!

I've known him for over 10 years. We dated just out of highschool and I broke his heart. 5 years later I got back in contact with him via a mutual friend and since then every 3-9 months (one time it was like a year when he had a girlfriend) he'll call me up or get my number from my friend and once he even went to my work because I didn't have a cellphone at the time. We'll mess around but nothing serious. Then, he'll disappear for awhile.

Last summer we were hanging out a lot, a couple times a week. Then I accidentally told him I loved him. I didn't see him again for like a month or two. Then he invited me to go to some ferris wheel or something and I had to work and he said I should call in sick and I said he should call in sick on my night off. He took some other girl who he then dated for a few months (this is only the 2nd girl I know of he officially dated since me). I got a boyfriend during that time anyway (first boyfriend since like 2009).

Now, things are different. We both broke up with the people we were with and I feel more confident because of that relationship I was in previously. Before I was too scared to really communicate with him because I didn't wanna mess anything up. But now I think he's over his "player" days and the increased communication is awesome. We're hanging out as friends and we haven't even had sex in the past month since we started talking again (things have gotten really close though). The other night he said he was "falling for me", he hasn't said anything like that since we dated back in the day.

This time I think it's for real...

Cancer and Libra may not be conventionally compatible but we both have a lot of Libra in our charts and I have a lot of Sagittarius which IS compatible with Libra. Plus our composite chart is all in the same area and our natal charts are both focused in a same but slightly different area (idk what this means tho!).

Any clues?
