O dem confusin' Libras!

'Don't hear from Libra Girl for four or five days THEN she insists I show up at her place at 4PM yesterday afternoon (I figure a birthday surprise since she'll be out of town). So the beauteous chick surprises me with a full chicken dinner (orange glaze); with fancy salad and mashed potatoes; chocolate cake and a HOME MADE birthday card I KNOW she struggled with for HOURS (we KNOW you Libras do that, y'know). And she's watching the time. So we finish eating and she insists on going out to a Double Feature (d'movies); no hand holding, mind you; but she insists on paying for everything. THEN when we get back (about four hours later) she has me open TWO wrapped packages FULL of 4 different types of top-of-the-line whole bean coffee; chocolate covered cherries and dark chocolate truffles. She seems to LOVE having me hold her hand, hugs and an occasional kiss on the cheek---but nothing more. And what generosity! I love my "stuff!" So now she'll be gone for two weeks; and I had a feeling of "too much too late" on the way home last night cuz she doesn't seem to want to take it to the next level (or ANY other level!). My "spider sense" also kicked in and I'm borderline concluding that "the chase if off." Ignore, ignore, ignore and she's sweet and generous and we have a BLAST. Attention, attention, attention and she hibernates. Yeah, guys, I'm still crazy about her. And, no, nic', it's not the "just because I can't have her" deal. We connect in many ways it's just that we don't CONNECT in "that" way---yet---(threw that in for you, Chatz!). NOW I'll enjoy the coffee and sweets. Ha!

I have followed your threads about this libra chick and she is way too much, if you don't plan on marrying her then let her be and move on, she's looking for a husband not a significant other.

honestly your all in at this point, go ahead and play it out but your going to be highly disappointed, she's acting as if she's a virgin and never been in the presence of a man. Only you know if she's worth the trouble, sounds like wolf in sheeps clothing, hang around and you will see the real her but you will be so caught up in it, it will be too late to bail and you will be stuck with god knows what, sounds like she's doing a good job at keeping you intrigued though, i can't hate on her, she has good game thats for sure.

Her actions seems like the old days when men would court a woman for months or years and the woman would play coy, shy, passive up until she got what she wanted (marriage).

I think she loves you and thinks your great but she isn't into you in that way. Unfortunately.

There are tons of people in my life who I love, but not in a romantic want to shag'em rotten kind of way. She has said repeatedly that she doesn't want to date you and isn't attracted to you in that way. I am not sure why you believe that will change.

To keep showing up and interacting with this woman knowing that you want more than just friendship from her without even questioning if she is remotely even considering the possibility after going back and forth for months now...your setting yourself up.

one more mention...I believe she likes him alot also, most women don't hang around a man unless she feels he's worthy of being in her space.

I just think he should at this point find out if he really has a chance with her, he's totally setting himself up for disappointment and I agree with Nicodemus, approach her as a friend, ask for advice about a date or a potential relationship with another woman and see how she flips her heels, she is either going to leave him alone or start responding to him in a way that will let him know she wants more.

Right now she has the upper hand that sh&t aint right...it should be a mutual type relationship, she got his tail wagging and he's whipped...sheesh

Libras love everyone man. If she wants to be with you, you'll know for sure. You actually would've already known.

Just enjoy what your little lady friend did....she went out of her way for you - at the very least (and this is by far not least), you have an absolutely awesome friend in her....don't dismiss that for a minute 🙂

Next time you see her, grab her, hold her tight so she can't get away, pull her by the hair (gently but firmly) and kiss her passionately....you'll either get a slap in the face or you will find yourself making mad passionate love to her as she has surrendered....life is a gamble and as I have found Librans LOVE being seduced....ooops did I say that? *chuckles*

I really don't know which game Libra Girl is playing: A) Status Quo just friends forever, or B) set-up for marriage. Dang, I enjoy her so much!
