Hi all -

First, I'd like to briefly introduce myself. I'm a 29 y.o. Gem dating a Libra boy about 7 months now. I LOVE Libras, so it's been interesting to read all of the "attacks" on Libra personalities on here!

Anyways, as a typical Gem, I'm starting to feel a little bit restless. I very much adore this boy, so instead of turning my attentions elsewhere, I'd like to do something to shake the relationship up a little bit without causing him an unbalance. It would be fun for me to do something surprising to sweep him off his feet. Any suggestions?

I can't stand boredom, and we are really entering that "comfortable" phase which can easily make me bored! I also wonder, since he and I are a lot alike, if he might be feeling the boredom too, but I don't want to give up on it yet!

We have taken a few trips together which is excellent for us, and at this point, neither of us has the time or resources to travel...I tend to do little things like notes, gifts, flowers, backrubs, etc. on occasion because I enjoy it. I'm looking for something different.

Thanks for the input!

What is that saying? No one likes the tall sunflower?

People are envious of those who dare to shine.

If you want to shake things up, go away for a weekend without him. Just change the routine a little and don't be available when you normally are. Not indefinitely just once or twice. Make him miss you a little.

Well, this suggestion works out nicely as I'm doing just that - I'm going to see my best friend for 6 days w/out him!

It's funny that you suggest making myself unavailable. This happens naturally for me, as I'm a social butterfly and very much independent. I'm not really into playing games, but the response I get when I'm not avaialble when he expects me to be makes it kind of like a game. Here is what has typically happened in these instances.

He calls and leaves a message wanting to see me.

I'll return the call when I get around to it and suggest we get together that night or the next day - something like that.

He says (with a little bit of attitude that I find cute), "I'll see how I feel."

Without fail, he then follows up - calling at the time I suggest and wanting to hang out.

So, we'll see how he reacts to this "break".

i once read somewhere on a prescription for gemini - never start with a libran if u r not serious. and never play any usual silly games with a libran like how geminis does with others. you will soon figure out its true if u plan games. a libran guy will catch you for every fake move you make intentionally or unintentionally. You can fool him - he is naive. but not for long. and once caught, you will be forced to pay with the guilt factor. shaking up with a libran guy is real simple and all you have to do is to talk to him openly. remember librans are emotional. as emotional as pisces if stings pulled well. else they are way detached and playful. goodluck. 😉

I disagree with emotional. I need to trust someone a lot to be emotional. Being emotional pulls me off balance.

Just live your life. Keep making plans with your friends. Keep doing what you are doing. Keeping in your own life is how you shake things up.

Thanks for the insights!

I'm definately not a game-player, but I do like to be playful! I agree Little Sparrow, the best thing for me to do is to be who I am and continue to live my life. I have a very adaptable personality, and sometimes I think I have a tendency to adapt a little bit too much - good to keep it in check!
