Should I wait for him to ask me out or suggest something first

I am a Taurus woman and seem to be attracting and attracted to Libra men regularly lol just reunited with a friend I haven't seen in about a year. We always had fun when we saw each other and flirted lots. Hugs when we saw each other etc. He did try last year to get together with me outside of the karaoke bar we met at. I didn't let him get anywhere with that (not 100% sure why because he's attractive and we get along well). I did have a friend telling me he was always flirting with her and that I should avoid him (she ended up being a terrible friend in the end lol).

Anyway so this libra and I spent some time together last night at karaoke (random meeting after we've both had a hiatus from this bar) and he ended up driving me home. He was a gentleman all night. He asked if he could kiss me and we kissed more than a little lol and he was very huggy and cuddly but I didn't invite him in because I'm not ready to sleep with him yet and I didn't want to give the wrong impression. He took my number again and texted when he got home saying he had a lot of fun with me. I told him I had a great time too and we should do something sometime.

He messaged today and we had some playful banter. Not sure if he's too scared to ask me out again because of last year? Did I give enough of a greenlight? Or should I just straight up ask him when we're gonna go out? Or should I wait and see what he does? I'm notorious for pushing guys either too hard or being so aloof trying not to push that they just stop trying. Please help lol

Btw he is sag rising, moon libra, mars and Venus Virgo, mercury Scorpio

I don't believe he's scared at all just gauging the situation like most Libras/gentlemen do.You gave him the green light with the seal of a kiss now he's doing the libra thing of figuring which way to conquer you. Enjoy the experience

Thank you! I'm terribly impatient typically once I start feeling attraction to someone but I've been working on that a lot lol just trying to sit back and enjoy this. I'm actually excited about him...there was more spark when we kissed than I expected or have had before...
