The need for other people

It was during an online gaming platform that I saw this, a lot of new players, were asking to be part of a group or something. I thought that was was rather Libra. I read some of the messages, and there was a person who was with what I consider to be a rather bossy person. That person constantly reminded Libra not to steal his things or he would "find Libra" and whatever. At this point I thought it was rather odd that Libra haven't left, and I asked Libra his date of birth, it appeared his sun sign was in Libra. Do libras usually tolerate such things so they can be "with someone"? (I don't know how to describe it) I don't think all of them do of course, but this stood out because it appears I guessed his correct sun sign, and that's why I'd like to get people's views on this needing other people trait.

Personally, I am Libra too and I don't appear to have this trait, being a little more distrustful of people than the sun sign would suggest.

I wonder, since this happened online, and it is in a game, is there another part of the chart that I could be looking at?

It's weird that you bring this up since I was considering starting a topic like it, myself.

I had a Libra friend talk to me about an issue with a guy she'd been seeing. The thing that stood out to me the most was her saying, "I am so tired of being alone!" and she was upset it wasn't working out, and she's been having panic attacks about it.

I'm like, well, there's part of the problem. :/ You're panicking because you don't want to be alone and happen to like this guy. ...even though he clearly doesn't seem to be an option at the moment. :/

The funny thing is I've known Libras who are fine being solo, and others who cannot do it and/or become highly dysfunctional if they don't have someone else.

It baffles me as I cannot fathom not being capable of functioning just because I don't have someone else in my life. If you have to rely on others to keep you happy/make your life function, there's a problem. :/

With her, I think it may be a combination of things going on that she feels she needs to have someone like that around, which is understandable. Being alone is one thing, being alone and fighting all sorts of shit in life is taxing.

I have a Cancer friend who cheated on his girlfriend, which surprised me since he'd been cheated on by his aqua ex and he's always been a pretty good guy.

...but the situation is interesting, needless to say, and his gf is a self absorbed Leo. I don't blame him. It isn't right, but looking in on it all, I'm not surprised his dumb ass started straying emotionally. :/

I'm a fixed sign and I don't thrive on drama or bat crazy people, which is why I keep my distance from certain signs.

I know a lot of cancer cheaters and it's really quite sad because they are pretty good people. Their reason for cheating is usually because their partner is abusive. The surprising part is they stick around. Just do what a libra does: find a new person and bounce!!

I used to be like this a up until 3 years ago.

I would breakup or be dumped, and hop right into a relationship like nothing ever happended.
(I also had backups in the palm of my hand, these guys already liked me and I had their interest. just in case of this scenario, I would call them up, after a few days of we'd be dating. manipulation of course.) Not being cocky, but I always have a few admires in the background.
But i do not feel good using people anymore so yeah. I dont. The guilt that follows is not worth it.
Also, staying in a bad relationship just to be in one felt better than being single.
I soon realized that all of this was immature, and not satisfying.

I can be single, and okay with it. It's better to take some single time to enjoy your own love/company & to rediscover yourself to fully enjoy a honest relationship.

What you described is precisely why libras are called fake, weak, pathetic users because doing what you described in your early days is nothing short of those words, right?

I have a libra friend who has gone in desperate mode. A cancer girl threw him bone and he grabbed it even though he wasn't feeling her. He came from his dates and complained about the cancer girl. He stayed with her until the cancer girl started withdrawing from him. She would withdraw and he would beg her to stay since his "bag of admirers" was empty at the moment. Then my libra friend met a capricorn who threw him a bone, and he easily left the cancer chick to be with the capricorn.

Well, I knew his situation was sticky when he got into it. Then after talking to her a few times, I picked up an opportunist vibe off of her.

Whether or not the situation is abusive, I don't know. Looking in from the outside, there have been a few things that made me wtf for his sake.

I had similar ponderings about a Leo and Cap friend who were together. He (the Cap), more or less, was freeloading off of her. Couldn't really hold down jobs and seemed to be happy in the situation he was in. She, being a Leo chick, was providing like crazy for him (expensive cell phones, new motorcycle hobby, food, and even medical insurance). That's how long they were together too. ...and her previous relationship was the same. About 5 years and the guy was a bit of a deadbeat.

She can also barely remain single any longer than 3 months, apparently. I've noticed that a lot with Leo chicks, though. At least most of the ones I've met.

I dunno how they do it or why, aside from desperation of not being alone. I'd noticed it was him living off of her, and it went as far as waiting for her to come home to cook. She'd get home late from work and he'd come in and ask, "what's for dinner?" She enjoyed cooking, so I didn't think a ton of it. But I did think it was kinda strange that he never offered to help and just kept playing video games or bsing with friends while she worked in the kitchen. It reminded me a lot of a little boy expecting mom to do everything for him.

Whatever, it was their thing. But in the back of my mind, I couldn't help but wonder how she managed without losing her sanity. Nobody wants to be a parent to their S.O. like that. Temporarily when shit goes down? Sure. But when they're just... like that with no intent to change? :/ Recipe for disaster much?

If you know anything about an aqua then you would know we suck at sugar coating things. I know you libras have a really hard time understanding how anyone can be cut throat honest with another person, more specifically a friend. I tell my friends things exactly as I see them. Yes, I do call them weak and cowardly or two faced when they do selfish and hurtful things to other people. I look out for humans, not friends. In fact, I told a libra moon friend yesterday that he's selfish, pathetic and two faced for what he did to this poor girl out of his desperation. He wasn't happy to hear it and even told me that he took offense. I didn't care so I didn't apologize. It's been a day and I haven't heard from him. Lol. He's isolating himself because he's butthurt right now. But he'll get over it and msg me..hmmm 2-3 days from now. Lol. I know how you guys roll 😉

Maybe. I get so many strange responses when people see my nonchalance in regard to relationships and the like. I'm like meh, whatever, it'll happen when it happens. In the meantime, I'm fine doing me and being single.

People just cannot grasp this concept and think it's weird I'm not all about running around, trying to pair up. It always happens when you're not looking. I think the sooner people realize that, the fewer problems we'd have in dating. People are all too often chasing when it's not necessary.

Well being blunt and honest is fine. I guess you're just not as judgmental as I am. If someone I know is constantly screwing other people over, I can't see myself being friends with that person. I'm more choosey about who I keep as friends. It does make sense. Aquas aren't very judgmental.

Everyone talks behind everyone's back. If you think they don't then you need to grow up and get your head out of the clouds. The biggest gossip I know is a Taurus. Telling her something is just as good as putting it on the front page. Today she told me that if you don't want her to repeat something then tell her not to and she won't. Talking behind people's back is not a Libra thing. It's just human.

Backbiting in terms of venting about something a friend of yours did, which you didn't like, is fine and tolerable because if you voice that to your friend, they would understand and not be deeply offended as it's something that can be said to their face without wreaking much havoc.

However, when you attack someone's character (lacks integrity, dishonorable), that's when it's not okay for 2 reasons:
1) If you attack someone's character on their face, they are not gonna take that lightly. They will surely be offended. If not, then they are desperate for your friendship; and

2) it's hard to respect someone who is characterless. You wouldn't even want to be friends with them let alone vent about them. If my libra guys were players, then I wouldn't be friends with them because I can't respect them and that itself would lead me to being a two faced person.

In sum, backbiting is what you are unable to say to someone's face. It's not backbiting if what you are saying behind their back was already relayed to the person in question in the context it was said in. Secondly, nothing wrong with venting about a disagreement, but character bashing warrants a change of friend.

And I don't agree that your Libra "friends" continue to be your friend only because they want to be liked. You guys are misunderstanding a need to be liked with the Libran need to please. Those are two separate things. I have friends who roast me. I don't mind it at all as long as they are accurate. Most of the time I'll laugh and say yea you're right. It's good that they take the time to know me well enough to be able to point my flaws it to me and let me know when I'm trippin. If they didn't do that I wouldn't consider them a real friend.

What's not a friend is someone who bashes my character for doing the exact same thing that they do whether it's to my face or to other people or both. I can't see how you're not bashing their character. That's what led me to asking why you're friends with them anyway. Your entire response is based on the assumption that libras are saying whatever they say behind someone's back to their face. I already told you that I know FOR A FACT that they don't. That's another story if you want to know how I know. Besides your assumption doesn't agree with the concept of people pleasing. If libras were saying what they really thought of a person to their face, even in a singing form, they wouldn't be liked by that person. Not many people appreciate criticism. Libras say things that people wanna hear because they want to be liked. That's a textbook libra and that's how my friends are.

Oh and there is a difference between what I do vs. what my libra friends do. I say it to their face as I'm writing it on here whereas they don't say shit to my face. Lest I be offended and dispose of them.
