My Libra Man Proposed!!!!

Thanks to all here who gave me advice a couple of months ago. Everyone said to stop worrying about things, and they were correct. On Tuesday of this week, my Libra man proposed! It was nothing fancy, and he jokes with me so much that he actually said "I'm serious" after asking...so cute!

I'm Virgo and he's Libra...not a good match on paper, but we have just the best time together! We laugh constantly and are a very laid back couple. He is 41 and never married; I'm 53 and was married, previously, for 20 years.

Life couldn't be better right now, and I have all of you charming Libras to thank for that. I was able to put my uptight worries behind, relax in the moment, and capture the heart of my Libra man.

Thanks uncle. I'm not sure what's different about my Libra, but he doesn't carry many of the "typical" traits. He's a keeper, and we've shaken up his family with the news. Just tonight, his mother said to me, "His grandmother and I never thought this day would come, because he always said he didn't have time for marriage." I guess time changes things!

Clueless...we both have children from previous relationships and don't want more. Sounds as though you think he's "settling" in this relationship, and I beg to differ!

Not that I'm looking for a debate, Clueless, but how can you make that determination without knowing me? It seems you insinuate that he's getting a bum deal. Actually, I'm a good catch and I'm not afraid to say so. The negativity you harbor toward others must make you a miserable person.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! With age comes wisdom, so your Libra guy has probably done a lot of growing up, and that could very well be because of you. Oh, I'm sure he realized you were a great catch, and decided to buckle down and do the right thing. Anyway, here's to a great life!!
It should only get better and better from here on out.

I was just looking for clarification and you provided it, i don't see marriage or relationships as being worthwhile unless there are kids, this of course is my perception.

So it has nothing to do with you but a general principle i hold.

Thanks to all...yes, there are some Libra men who just don't fit the "mold".

I don't consider myself an expert on Libra men, but I'm always glad to offer insight in to what I experienced, if it helps others understand what might be going on in their relationship.

No, he's just a Libran man that has his shit together. You hear horror stories here because people come here largely for advice. You don't seek advice when things are going well, you seek advice because something is wrong and you're trying to figure it out/fix it, hence all the bad rap/nutters you hear about.
