So, can someone really become a real Master in a few weeks?

I have spent the majority of my Life involved in matters Spiritual. I have shared with others that which I have learned as, equally,I have been Student and Initiate. I have been humbled as I have also had pride stripped away. The Journey has been long and challenging.
Enough of my Journey......
Many people enter into an interest in matters Metaphysical. Some dabble in it, some are drawn to it and others out of idle curiosity.
Many Teachers and "Gurus" will offer a Fast Track route (often for a fee) and after a short period of time will pronounce you a "Master" of some Metaphysical technique.
I am not a Master though many have called me so. I am simply a Traveler much like yourself. My experiences may differ but we both have arms, legs, a body and a head.
The point I am endeavoring to make is that many Metaphysical disciplines take a Lifetime to polish and hone with many experiences along the way. In the Past an Initiate would practice for several years before being offered to proceed to the next level by invitation from their Teacher(s). It wasn't until many years later that the opportunity to be recognized as a "Master" would be bestowed upon them and the Secrets of the Masterhood would be shared with them.
In my opinion it takes many years to develop skills in the field of Metaphysics which require very often a complete redesign of fundamentally who you are. All this takes time as you metamorphose into the new you.
So, can someone really become a real Master in a few weeks?
I am sure I will have upset someone.
