a simple cleansing bath is sea salt and an aromatic oil essence of your choosing. Sage is particularly good for cleansing negative energy. And to cleanse the home burn sage, and put onyx stones in the corners - the onyx will need to be left out in the sunlight periodically to release the negative energy and then put them back in place. You can get onyx stones for about a dollar a piece at a metaphysical shop. You may want to give them hematite as well since that brings luck in legal matters and helps with self-esteem.

I agree with the salt, and burning sage to remove bad energy.
I like to add Florida water to the bathwater, and splash some on me after the bath. It is thought to be a spiritual cleanser. It can be found in occult shops and in the hygiene section of Caribbean grocery stores.

As for specific saints you can try el nino de Atocha
Have a look here:

St Hubert for turning around the life of a prisoner. St Leonard and St Nicholas (yes the same saint that Santa Clause is based on) for freeing prisoners,

I have several anti-negativity baths I can recommend but instinctually I am going to give you this one:

1 cup milk
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 bunch of parsley

According to my book, "Although this bath has been used to bring good luck, its original design was to rid of person negative energies. Goat milk works better than cows milk.

The person may want to bathe while a yellow candle is burning.

If you do invest in florida water there is this suggestion:

"this is the bath most Caribbean Spiritualists prefer for getting rid of bad vibrations

About 3 ounces of Florida Water
1 lump of cascarilla (powdered eggshell)
Petals from 5 white carnations

"After taking the bath, take remains, petals, and cascarilla and discard them far from your home, for it is thought that the negativity has been absorbed by these physical remains."

If I were you, I would set up a reiki appointment for the person. A good reiki master can transform lives.

Be well!
