Akward date timing
continued... Working on Valentine's like a cliché Cappy. Though I have lunch time available. We agreed to coffee not something big. I feel like coffee for Valentine's Day doesn't do it justice and I don't want to hype this thing up with too many expectations if the date happens on Valentine's because honestly, just three days ago I realized Valentine's was even happening. We only have talked online for like about a week, but haven't exchanged numbers or anything. Agreement to meet was made yesterday. So probably I should have been a little more aggressive even though she made first contact. In the perfect world my life would be where I want it and I would have asked her out specifically for Valentine's Day, but that is not the case. Because it is not I asked for a safe get to know you thing rather than something extravagant and romantic. Hopefully she responds tonight and doesn't find someone else for tomorrow and I miss my chance. I will say she has challenged me to kick myself in the but and be more assertive and business like in my everyday dealings, like I used to be in the past. If nothing happens its not the end of the world, but it would be nice to connect with someone who seems to have a lot going for herself.
It could me just over complicating things. The issue is only that we haven't agreed to an exact time for our date and tomorrow is Valentine's Day so it would likely fall in the afternoon tomorrow which is ideal or after Valentine's Day, which is where game theory comes into play.
It would make her so happy to have a valentine day date!

Lol I would say yes you are complicating things. Just let her know what time you’d like and move forward
I asked earlier today what time and date works for her now I am just waiting.

Nah I’ve gone on a second casual date for vday once. It was a nice time. It didn’t feel pressured. It’s just nice to not be alone on this day. Make it light and fun. Could be something to remember forever.

I have managed a date with someone, but I did not plan it to be overly extravagant, just a get to know you type of deal. We have agreed to the "date" but not a time yet. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I will be working
