Yes! Mine used to be unbearable. Had a moment where I did not leave the house for a year!
Anxiety is a super awful thing. Just like any other mental problem or whatever. Living with a mental issue can be very gruelling if you don't get the right therapy and/or treatment. It slowly kills your spirit and soul.

Posted by Vageenkai experienced this for about a year myself... awful stuff. i hope you have better coping mechanisms now. you're a gem and i hate to hear that for such a special person. it really is debilitating so if you ever want a sympathetic ear...

Posted by TheLibraMudrai feel you girl. i feel so pressured to go go go and give give give. it's hard to slow down! i love you.
Some nights, I am so overstimulated from doing 75 things at the same time surrounded by death and sadness in my 12 hour shifts, that I feel like I'm crawling out of my own skin while in bed. Tossing, turning, bad images imprinted in my brain from the day, every. Single. Part. Of. My. Body. Tense. Feel like screaming but in my own silence. My neck gets sore, my heart beats fast, jaw clenches. Every time I fall asleep, I jump up from sleep and feel freaked out. My dreams are nothing but running from something or I just feel like im still at work busy af with all the monitors beeping.
A huge freak out only happens once in a while but the last was about 3 weeks ago. There was some babies we lost in the nicu and some kiddos in cancer. Plus crazy high census protocol in the hospital. Being a parent is not always easy. Money. Then trying to get my hubby into America and planning a nice wedding all by myself. It was driving me bonkers but I was keeping it all in to myself instead of talking about it.
I have to stretch out and do some yoga. Spread lavender oil on my pillows, meditation music on and fucking breathe. The Leo has helped me realize it's anxiety and just the way he holds me, his soothing words and drive to make everything easier and reassurance he is always there has done wonders for my stress levels. I'm not fucking Wonder Woman that has to do it all on my own anymore.

Well I didn't. It's a struggle all the time but it's gotten way better with therapy and meds and just growing up a bit and not giving a fuck anymore.

Posted by MyStarsShineThat's what I had him do. Plus, we talked about finances and he calmed down after an hour
Poor man
Tell him, the way to stop it is to breathe deeply in through the nose, hold for a few seconds and out through the nose with mouth closed....if slows the heart rate down considerably ..

I am so over people with anxiety, it is learnt and manifested by the very person who has it, take some responsibility and deal with your mental health....
I hate it now people say "oh I have anxiety so that's the reason why" No the reason why is because you haven't done anything about it.
If we were living in the wild the weak die you don't have enough time or energy for anxiety or else you get left behind.
Pull your shit together and get it together!

Posted by xXxQueenliciaXxXWhat do you find helps?
Yes, but I've learned to deal with/control my panic attacks throughout the years.
Now the severe ones happen few and far between.

Posted by SsupermanNope. Not me.
Anyone get anxiety to the point you can actually see your heart pounding in your chest?
My Co-worker just had one and it was horrible to watch. I was able to talk him out of it before he got so bad I had to call 911. He's 62 and about to retire and the stress is getting to him about his future.

Posted by SanchezAnxiety isn't a mental illness it's a disorder, when people focus all their energy into thinking about negative things they create neurological pathways in their minds, it's as easy to undo as it is easy to do.....you don't need drugs or to stop living your life to manage it, just mental exercisePosted by The_eleventh_sign_11You're the last one who should be mocking mental illnesses.
