Tucson Police Sgt. Pete Dugan told CNN that Valencia was involved in several incidents in Tucson the day he was struck.

At 6:45 a.m., Valencia robbed a 7-Eleven in Tucson with a metal object in his hand. Authorities said he was dressed only in his underwear. He was charged with theft.

A little more than an hour later, police said, Valencia set a fire at a church for which he was charged with arson of an occupied structure.

Just after that he entered a home and stole a car, police said.

Authorities said he drove to a Walmart where he stole a .30-30 rifle and ammunition. He fled the store with Walmart employees in pursuit.

Police encountered him in a business park walking down the road. An officer told him several times to drop the rifle, Lt. Tim Brunenkant with the Marana Police Department said in an email containing a timeline of events.

Valencia, police said, walked away from the officer, turned a corner and stopped. Valencia pointed the rifle at the officer then walked away again toward a Coca-Cola bottling plant and another business.

LOL

Having lived in Phoenix/Scottsdale, I can confirm that people in AZ are indeed crazy as fuck.

...a good "crazy as fuck" ..they don't take shit from people who break laws.

I was referring to the guy in his drawers with a rifle robbing convienience stores :/

That heat...affects the brain. Bakes the crazy right in.

I remember Sheriff Arpaio and the changes he made to corrections facilities there...yes...Arizona doesn't take shit from criminals.

I know what you meant, (was referring to the state's legal system) and yea, that sheriff is one bad ass!

lmao @ that cop screaming like a stuck pig..

"Brannan (the crazy vet) systematically, methodically shot Dinkheller (the pig) in the arms, legs, exposed areas that would not be covered had Dinkheller been wearing a bulletproof vest, slowly executing him. Reloading his weapon Brannan continued firing with the final death shot to Dinkhellers right eye."

Cops don't deserve to get shot, just as some citizens don't deserves to get shot.

I don't think any of you know what it feels like to know someone has a gun or weapon of any kind and wants to kill you. Cops deal with that every day, and I've seen videos of them getting shot for simply doing their job. Just a basic traffic stop could be their last. Yet they still wake up and do it every day so we can safely go to work and do our job to provide for our families.

Some humans are just evil, and they slip into every job in this world. It's doesn't matter if its a cop, civilian, actor, or politician they are all still humans.

lol @ this generic response

You have a better chance of getting shot than the police.

and besides that, you & the majority of people on here (including myself) don't even live in areas where you have to worry about serious crime everyday, but i bet you've gotten a traffic ticket for some type of minor infraction recently

The majority of cops dont do shit but drive around or park somewhere inconspicuously waiting to give out tickets..

And if and when a real crime does occur, they're not preventing it from happening, they come after the shit was committed.

Plus im sure i have had far more negative experiences with cops than everybody on here combined, so i have legit reasons to celebrate their death

The more you post in these threads and elsewhere, the more obvious it becomes that your "far more negative experiences" with law enforcement aren't actually attributable to anything wrong with law enforcement, but rather to you, and to whatever attitude problem or social maladjustment of yours is causing you issues at the worst possible times.

.....And you're assuming

But thats understandable, because you're not black and didn't grow up in the same enviornment as me.

therein lies the problem.

the negro does not understand accountability. it is always someone else's fault.

And here is another problem.

This mongoloid doesn't comprehend is the fact that there are cops out here who don't follow proper procedures & yet are allowed to get away with it.

I disagree with the policeman running the man down.......like magenta said before, three times if I recall PROTOCOL!!!!.....

That would have to be the most stupidest thing I have seen all day, policemen playing cowboys and indians on a testosterone egotistical over drive...

They have guns for that kind of thing, shoot the fucker and follow the protocol.....what if they had broken his spine and he became a paraplegic who pays for his medical costs then? What if he sues the police and won the case? or what if there was someone taking cover on the other side of the wall that he had driven into??

Beyond stupid.

Correct. The more you write from an irrational position that you can't get past, the more is "assumed."

Everyone's got a story, and your anecdotes mean no more than anyone else's. And they definitely mean nothing when you need to make a judgment call and common sense is available. It's time to grow up and put away the excuses.

Everyone is responsible for their own behaviour regardless — no matter ethnicity, skin colour, religion, personal history, cultural history, and so on. When you're at the moment of decision — where everything you do matters to your well-being, your personal feelings, your troubles, what you ate that day, all the supposed injustices you've had (or think you've had to) put up with, MEAN NOTHING.

At some point personal history needs to give way to personal responsibility. Especially when you're way past adolescence.

Believing that everyone deserves to be treated fair is irrational now? lol

And yes everyone has a story, but not specifically about this type of situation, so you're point of view will naturally differ from mine..and police not taking into account of their actions is why this situation is such a big topic in this country today..

Its weird though, I watch cops so many times here in Australia and you watch these grown people being told repeatedly by police to do something lol.....its incredible and they resist arrest constantly and ignoring simple orders...

Is there something in the drinking water?? is it the preservatives in the fast food chains? could it be that they are just rebelling delinquents? Could it be that they are scared shitless of the police that they don't hear a word the cop is saying—? I sit and watch the tv and ask whyyyyyyyyy—??

in a perfect world, there wouldn't be a need for cops.

Unfortunately, there is no such place..humans will always break a law, its the police job to enforce them.

I have no issue with that. When the police start committing acts that would be considered unlawful, and getting away with it, is when I, as well as many others, began to have an issue with them.

*man goes 10 mph over speed limit*

*gets pulled over*

*man reaches for wallet in glove compartment*

*cop thinks he's reaching for a gun, pulls out his and shoots the man dead*

Seraph says "he was stupid for speeding,if he didn't speed, the situation wouldn't have ocurred, simple. We as adults need to take accountability for our own actions"

Smh

No. The driver takes responsibility for informing the cop. He should have told the cop "My wallet is in my glove department. I'm going to have to get in there to get it". Then the cop understands beforehand that he is only reaching for his wallet.

I've had this happen to me. I was pulled over, asked for insurance. I told the cop, "it's in the glove department. Now, I have a pistol in there, I don't want you to think I'm reaching for it instead." Cop appreciated the information.
