Can I just say that it's not just white people that are rascist. I've seen my fair share of, black, Asian and non English, white people throw out some racism.

My father was Jewish, and my mother Roman Catholic ..... meeting in 1948. This was unheard of, an abomination !!!
Every generation or era .. there will always be something different, diverse. So, being mixed race isn't any less or more important than anything else in the life's scheme of things.
It only matters in your mind. The normal person doesn't really notice unless it's pointed out.
If I am in a group of people, my attention and awareness of that person is centered around what kind of person they are in terms of personality, intelligence, honesty .... as far as that person's physical attributes, they aren't relevant to my judgment of them unless it's made a mockery of by that person.
If you want it, you will find it.

"Why are white people racist" is also a racist statement if you think about it.
PEOPLE are racist. Because, ignorance. And old, outdated thinking.
The occupation that I'm in can make people stupidly racist due to consistent trends and behaviors from specific groups.
But if you think about it, it's not about race, it's about socio-economic groups. The same patterns exist within the same socio-economic groups. Sadly, many of these groups also have specific races involved due to our lovely government keeping them there for the purpose of controlling our society and creating scapegoats.
You know who else is really racist? Hispanics. I hear more blatant racism from these individuals than white folk. At least here, the white people have the common sense not to say such racist shit so openly, haha. There have been times I was offended and felt what they were saying was incredibly unjustified and fucked up. But they think it's okay because they aren't white.
...Because so many people peg white people as being the only ones who are racist. Newsflash, everyone is capable of being racist. Only racists peg white people as the only ones who are racist.

@MadMarchRam it's not that i hate fire signs. (all my kids came from a fire sign mom). i don't like their fiery energetic nature. when fire sign people get together, they gossips about people behind their backs. their the types that talk the talk and can't walk the walk. and they say we geminis talk a lot??!! haha. it wouldn't surprise me one single solitary bit if all my high school and middle school bullies were all fire signs. fire influence people is just bad all the way around. there's nothing nice and kind about them.It's interesting that you say that because I was known at school for sticking up for the unpopular kids, defending and befriending them. In fact, I almost went out of my way to befriend misfits growing up. My teachers used to say that I should be a lawyer because I always intervened and then brought adults into the situation to ensure justice was served. I also don't backbite, which is why I'm always the outsider amongst women as I keep to myself. Like the other poster said, I am always upfront and say things to people's faces. At work, people complain to the manager behind someone's back. I go straight to the person first, and only go to the manager when the problem is consistent. I am sorry you were bullied; that was unfortunate. I was often sought after to join the so called "popular kids," but I hated cliques and the idea of following and disliking the same people even if I personally had no trouble with them, dressing similar, and liking/disliking the same things. So I did my own thing which meant I knew people from all the different groups.
I honestly was simply playing Devil's Advocate and think I did a pretty good job making a case. Again, it's not what I believe or personally act on. I mentally wanted to explore, and it was misinterpreted as me speaking seriously. My heart wasn't in the wrong place and I didn't have malicious intent.

there seems to be alot of "hidden" racism going on in the U.S. (of course it's everywhere!!) but, i saw this on the news today and i thought, geezzz....the policeman just took out his handgun—!! And not his tazer gun? but i read he is in his 70s? So, it seems weird. But it might be that he really did it out of an accident. But geez. it's awful!! i read it over and to find out if the victim survived, but sadly the news said that he died in the hospital. 😢
and anyway, shouldn't that old guy be retired?? what's he doing? now he's gonna be miserable that he did that on "accident".
we all know if you do criminal activity, it's not about sense.
it still doesn't take away the fact that there are police brutality which really exists.
but i wonder if the man were asian, white or hispanic, would it make a difference?

What's even more racist is that these police brutality stories seem to make the news if there's a minority involved- mostly black people, as of lately. The only reason they're getting the attention they're getting is because a black person is involved. They go after other minorities with the same racial profiling, but you aren't hearing about that as much, are you?
There's a reason these stories are hitting mainstream and it's not just a coincidence or things coming to light suddenly.

Alot of people make comments about someone else's weight over being racist or pre judice nowadays. Being overweight and being bullied has more effects than any other..alot of people are committing suicide over this and not really about skin issues..
