best place for a road trip

i live in cali, and my friends are planning a road trip, but don't know really where to go.... suggestions?

COME TO NEW YORK!!! IT'S THE GREATEST CITY ON EARTH!!! Plus if you're coming from California, you get to see all sorts of interesting things on the way!!! Remeber: It's not the destination, it's the journey!!!

Just out of pure curiosity and because I wonder everytime I read one of your posts, does your screen name have anything to do with the Freemasons—

Hmm, best place for a road trip...that's a hard one because I've taken only a couple road trips (definitely not enough)...I took a road trip from where I live to San Francisco once, that was fun, of course I was twelve and so probably thought everything was fun at that age.

I also took a real road trip from where I live up to Portland; that was way fun, of course I always have more fun as the passenger rather than as the driver--but I'm so weird; I find enjoyment in things that most people would probably find boring (example: I like to stop off at the little places on the side of the road, like crappy diners and makeshift garage-sale type outdoor shops, and look around, and spend ridiculous amounts of time eating hotdogs and asking the waitress if I can purchase something from the restaurant as a souvenier...lol, god I love souveneirs; trips are all about souveniers!!)

thanks for the option for NEW YORK, we thought of that. one of my good friends said the same thing you said "its the journey", she said its lethal bonding. but anyways, so far we might be leading towards new york.

if you're in California you have to go east and New York is the best place to go unless you are really feeling adventurous and then go north first and travel west through Canada-you'll see some really awesome sights.

Don't go through Canada. Go down through Mexico!!! That's going to be longer, but errr... It'll have better beaches!!! And that's great if you do go to NY!!! When are you going, I'll tell you when to stay of the road, though I think rush hour is all day long now.

ok morgan... i do think that the signs point to yes...

so i can say that we are going to newyork in 2 months, we just have to work with our vacation pays and have consistent similar schedules.
