Could you remove your own arm?

Can you believe this story with the hiker who amputated his own arm? It's unbelievable. I don't think I could do that. Can you IMAGINE THE PAIN?? And this guy, for having gone through something so traumatic, is recovering emotionally and physically quite well. I just find it amazing that someone could withstand the pain and trauma of doing that.

Story was in our rags quite the hero type I would say quite a man.

Sometimes guys will get drunk at a bar and then the next morning wake up in bed with a fat chick with their arm around her. And then chew off their arm so they can get away without waking her up. 🙂

I have heard of this even in england. It is a legend here the first time it happended here was in the 1930s in whitstable. later the same year he was out agian and met the same woman she rolled over in the night and he sufocated quite sad.

yes I thought that too until I read the article and he said something to the effect of, "I felt pain, but I just kept on going". Ouch.
