Dieselpunk and Atompunk

Dieselpunk- A world that never escaped the 1940's and War, Fascism, and Nazism were typically glorified in its works if it ever was. Examples would be Killzone and Bioshock and Metropolis. The only real examples I know of since the Helghast were kinda like Nazis who hated Humanity (Can't blame a little bit).

Atompunk- The world never escaped the space race of the 1940's and 1960's. Space technology was wide and around and beyond that, nuclear energy was very common place in a society like that. One of the few reasons it's called Atompunk, nuclear energy would be used in cars, homes, spaceships, schools, powering entire cities. Examples would be Fallout (though the world went to shit in 2077, the world was definite Atompunk), The Jetsons, Flash Gordon, Starship Troopers, X-Com Apocalypse, Cyborg 009, and Astro Boy. It was all great in the 50's till the mid 60's when we failed to make these dreams a reality.

I like Astropunk. But as for if we lived in a punk genre. We live in a cyberpunk world with potential to be Atompunk.
