If you sign up, do play the game. It always fucks up one side of the game (most of the time the townies) when you don't. Like I said, it won't take long. Just make a commitment to attend the voting rounds and to talk to your fellow townies or mafias, whichever camp you'll be in.

It's about a town. Some people in it are mafias and the townies have the objective to figure them out and vote them out. Meanwhile the mafias have the objective to kill everyone.

i don't think it will be a problem of enough. the number of people that have signed up til thursday evening..it's the number i will figure out the ratios for.
so think if you want to play because i don't have a number limit this time 😄

I need to educate myself on patience.
Either way the number I had thought about was in the range of 20. I think it would easily be reached in..two days tops.

Damous played for the first time and he was there pretty much til the end. On the losing side but he managed to survive.

I have no way to agree or disagree with this statement.
Just saying that the week started and there are people who don't sign up daily. But maybe they'd dig the game and would want to play it since it doesn't take weeks/months.
But if you, dazed and nights can't wait...then I'm ok with it. Exo or someone else will host and decide the cutoff time for signing up.
In my case, I wanted to see how many folks would sign up. If I can't do that..then fair enough. I'll back down.

"In its simplest form, Mafia consists of two sides: the Mafia, and the Town. The Mafia's goal is to kill the innocents, while the Town's goal is to kill the Mafia.At the beginning of the game, the Moderator will secretly send everyone their role. The Mafia will know each other, while (in the basic game) everyone else will only know their own role.
The game has two phases, the first of which is Day. During Day, the Town must choose someone to Lynch; they are trying to eliminate the Mafia, but the Mafia can lead them astray by casting suspicion elsewhere. Generally, players will vote for someone they think is Mafia (the Mafia will vote so that they seem to be doing this as well, and might even vote for each other to confuse the Town); when a player gets a majority of the votes, they are lynched. Their role is revealed by the Moderator, and it becomes Night.

In this way, they can silence members of the Town who are threats to them. At the end of the Night, the murder is carried out and another Day begins. 1) The cop. The person that will get a "You are the cop" PM from the moderator has the opportunity to ask the moderator in a pm if another player is mafia. The reply the moderator will give will either be "Yes" or "No". The cop will ask only at night, when the mafias make their kill, and not during the deliberation in the town square. You can ask as long as you are alive.
2) The doctor. The person that will get a "You are the doctor" PM from the moderator can save a person every night. He/She just has to send me the name of the player he/she wants saved for that night. Cannot save the same player 2 nights in a row. Saving yourself is also allowed but again, not 2 nights in a row. In case the doctor sends the moderator the name the mafias picked, no one will die that night.
3) The slut. As the night falls on DXPville, the creatures of the night start frolicking too. The slut will send the moderator a PM with a name of the player he/she wants to fuck. If that name corresponds to any of the 5 mafias, no one will die that night.

I don't know if you're taking suggestions, but I think any more than 15 players is too many and it will make the game drag. I think 10-15 is perfect.
Also, Wateries' bleeding hearts take time to heal. Doubt they'll be up for every round. I should know...I'm currently seeing a therapist just for Elle being my first vote in Game 3. 😐

You want to play, say "I'm in". Deadline to enter the game is this Thursday @ 6 PM. I will check then how many people signed up and decide the ratios for the game. Then I will randomly assign the roles and we will start the same night with the first mafia hit
If you haven't played yet, it is really funny imo. I'll explain the rules again and you can always PM me after we assign the roles for any question after the game starts. Prior to that, you can ask in this topic. It won't take a lot of time because we're playing in 8 hour rounds so anytime in that 8 hour frame you can log on dxp, get into the topic and cast a vote. Don't feel overwhelmed by the number of pages in the last one. Be afraid, be very afraid.
But first, let's see how many of you want to play.
