Does multiple question marks in a thread title or email title or at all come across as offensive?

I am curious about this. Sometimes I have seen others and I, myself, have placed multiple question marks in the title of a thread or e-mail. I don't know why I've done that. Texting habit maybe? Who knows. Anyways, a group of us were having a discussion on it. some people were talking about this in general and think it comes across as offensive. Some people think it conveys confusion. Some think it is meant to get the title more attention in a sea of titles.

So what do yall think—

I do this, but never in a professional email or letter. It does have an air of condescension and sarcasm about it and we all know I'm neither.

It doesn't bother me on a thread or post but I hate hate hate when someone texts me or sends me an email and uses a —? Or even worse, if I don't get back to them immediately and they send —?? again. It just has a bitchiness to it.

That's how my Scorp friend gives wtf looks via text.
