It means that society as a whole has been dragged so far left in the last 30 years, that a liberal in 1980 would be a right wing nut job by today's standards.
But definitely not socially.click to expand

Posted by Chance_11Posted by Sn1p3r187That's probably true but that's mostly political and much ado about nothing. According to this article (http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2014/may/12/john-garamendi/prior-benghazi-were-there-13-attacks-embassies-and/), under George W. Bush, there were 13 such attacks during his administration. Why weren't they investigated to the nth degree.
The problem with Hilary is the way she handled the Benghazi situation.

The thing that it highlights for me is that one of things Hillary is running on is 'experience' and that she 'gets the job done.' What experience?? Her appointment as Secretary of State was a political appointment because the Democratic Party wanted to burnish her credentials as a Presidential candidate. They didn't allow her to make any decisions. Trump called her ''the worst Secretary of State in our history." While that is hyperbole, she didn't really do anything.
