lol I like the last one the best because it makes absolutely no sense in english. I've seen some funny signs around... I'll see if I can find any to put up.
*waits patiently* hehe NOO im not patient, i want to see now.. ;P
It's funny how what you want to say can get very messed up in translation. There's a foriegn exchange student in my spanish class, and every once and a while, she just brakes out laughing, and it's evident that we said something VERY DIFFERENT from what we ment to say.
The english is hard to get The americans are best at it they can almost speak it. When at university some one told me to speak clear she could not understand me because of my accent. I had to remind her she had the accent we spoke the english first.
But isn't it true that since most Americans' ancestors came from England, "we" also spoke english first?
Well perhaps you are right but its like the child who leves home before you know what happen he is talking street talk so we kind of see you as thw wayward child. Just think it over you left because of a tea tax and look what you have now.
Language is constantly evolving (or devolving, however you want to see it) and eventually the entire world will speak one language. That's what I think.
Yup you are right we have the accents. However, you do drive on the wrong side of the road.
lol romeclone, quite right. You know phoenix, even once the world does speak one lauguage, people still won't be able to understand one another.
Romeclone we have auto's that are right hand drive so to us and a lot of outher countries we drive on the correct side of the road. What the U.S. needs is more round abouts.
I'm not so sure there would be enough room in a lot of places... More round abouts in NYC? The traffic's bad enough as it is, can you imagine what kind of driving round abouts would cause?
perhaps they would correct the traffic.
I think it would just make the drivers more frustrated and thus creating more cases of road rage like pheonix suffers from.
