Feel like moving away and starting over..

I just want to graduate from hs and move away forever.. I can't say that I hate where I live, I just want to start over. Too many bad memories lurking around here.

What about you? Would you be able to do it or would you miss your family/friends too much?

I live with my mom, stepdad and two sisters. I don't see my other family members much and we aren't very close. I don't think I would miss them too much. And vice versa.

Sometimes you just have to heed that call of the wild or risk forever regretting it.

i m doing it early next year...i m moving to europe for further studies and i just wanna start over. get new friends ... and new experiences.

Why do people think that moving away, starting their own lives & doing what makes them happy is somehow them being disloyal to family or less of a family person?

You're still a sister & a daughter no matter where you move! Moving, starting over or going off to explore yourself doesn't mean that you love your family any less!

Be you! There's a whole world out there that is much bigger than the city/state you live in! If you've outgrown your home, then go build another one somewhere else! There is nothing wrong with that!

We've got computers, cell phones, house phones, etc. & everything that allows people to communicate even if they no longer live 5 minutes from each other anymore!

Go live life! Be happy! There is nothing unusual about wanting to break away! Sometimes a new place & a new start is necessary to your sanity! There's no rule that says that you have to stay in 1 spot forever.

Stop apologizing for wanting to live your life in a way that others may not want you to or in a zip code that those you know may not live in! Go be free

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I may not move right away, but I know I'm not going to live here forever. Thank you. 🙂

When you finally do live & start living to your full potential in a place that best suites you (not everybody else), you'll be sooooooo glad that you did!!!

Most people don't actually end up living/working in their original hometown! So don't feel bad or apologize for wanting to spread your wings!!! We've all been there, done that! =)
