I feel like that often, I know what I want and I am at peace with myself but fml .. it’s not measuring up to what I feel I want

Yep. Going thru it now. But you will get there. Your thoughts truly create your reality. If you are always stressed, then your actions will revolve around stress. But if you focus on solutions, your actions will revovle around that

yeah like what libra4rmTX and imperfectStorm have said, focus on what's going right and finding possible solutions (if you can't think of any solutions that yield huge quick results, start by doing small things that will get you closer to your ideal life)

and focusing on the positive in your life doesn't mean you give up on your hopes and dreams, but you're just choosing to feel peaceful over feeling chaotic or depressed WHILE you're waiting for what you want to materialize.

life is full of moments where you have to wait for what you want to come to fruition. i know it sucks... :/

but that's just how it is sometimes. hang in there.

and as far as things not measuring up to what you want, maybe the universe has more awesome stuff in store for you and maybe it'll happen in a slightly different way than you think. i used to wanna control outcomes to things but now i just tell the universe, (or god if you believe in that) "if you got better plans for me than the one i'm thinking of, surprise me" lol

I thought about it a lot! Then after analyzing A LOT of people I had come to conclusion - it’s that ‘happy gene’. Have you ever seen a homeless person totally ok with life and smiling and pretty well dressed person with ‘I’ll wish I was dead’ grimace in their face? Yes! So do you undertand what I am saying?

I am saying that my conclusion that makes me goi g and cope with life is

My Happiness is an absence of grieving.

I said to myself I am a very Blessed person and this is the way I am wired that I am the way I am!

You might be too intellectual for fire sign guys. I mean, as a Gemini, I do see them as a bit shallow and too much action oriented. But then I have many Leo planets so they light up that fire in me that I need. I cannot deal with the aloofness.

i once had this leo chase me in the past but he made me wear outfits that i wasn't very confident in. but he was so supportive and didn't make me feel bad tho. the impression i got was that he got tired of how he seemed to be doing the most work. he was always sending pics, always initiating, i never seemed to be looking for him while he was always trying to make contact with my dumb self taking forever to reply to anything. that's why i think they're (fire) so high-maintenance, like i can't keep up.

Meh, sorry… I’m really just feeling frustrated with a few things, actually quite a few things recently that I was hoping would go one way and have been messed around. I really do have a good life and shouldn’t complain.

My optimism clearly wavering of late!

tbh i think this might be coz i'm edging to my saturn return but i've never felt more disappointed and yet so accepting of my fate. lately, things have not worked out for me. i've alienated most of my long-time friends coz i chose someone who eventually ended up cheating on me. you forgive someone and they'll just do it again. i have trouble getting pregnant and expect that most would not want a serious life with me. there's not much i feel i can bring to the table for this reason. but i've made peace with this and always let them know about it on first dates so we don't waste time. i'm just mostly hoping to date someone older or those who already have kids or don't want anymore or any at all.

I get it. Appreciate the simple things..

The first week of my new job I got woken up by an intruder in my home. I live on my own with my dog. I calmly let him out the door after asking how he’d gotten in and why he was in my home. Unbeknownst to me he had my car keys and drove off in my car 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, everyone was saying all sorts of things like why I didn’t scream out etc

I said, there’s only 2 things of value in my place, my dog and I. Everything else is replaceable.

I’m so sorry you went through that. A home invasion is a traumatic experience. Thankfully it’s never happened to me, but I can imagine the type of anxiety it could cause.

Yes, thanks. And that’s what I said to everyone that said why let him out. The fact that I was calm and talked to him and opened the door for him to leave kept us safe. The alternative I believe would have been much more devastating!
