Gas shortages and $ 2 per 1 liter which makes it $ 8 per gallon. Most people make $ 300 per month. So yeah!

Diesel is about £1.58 per litre in UK
€1.85 per litre in Ireland

No. One room apartment coast 1500 zł per month plus hitting, water and media ect. So you can imagine. Luckly mosty students ern this less, but if you have kids and credit for house or car, even earning 3000 zł is not enough.

I have a lot of luck tbh. I live with my parents so I don't pay rent, just for used energy, media, water ect . We split also with food so it eases coasts. I always earned pretty well, I get money from government for baby, it's not much but it's enough for basic suplies like diapers plus right now I have partner who also ern fair bit so I really do feel blessed comparing to some people. The only thing is that if anything would happened, like accident or operatin needed or something like this, I don't have much savings

I saw diesel for over $ 5.00 last week and decided to keep moving until I got to a spot that might be a little cheaper. I just haven’t gotten gas yet but I’ll report when I do.

I live in California and diesel prices are $ 5.89 here, as well as 89 Premium gas.
I bought a diesel SUV cause I thought I would save gas in the long run, but it's been more of like owning a luxury car then anything else 😢

This won't last for too long. Maybe a year. In the 70's oil Embargo 1 barrel was'bout $ 300 in today's money.
But other things are very expensive now: lumber, glass, metal, etc. Some are x6. Can't build anything. For the first time in my life I collected free pallets to build a smoke house, beehive, rabbit house. That wood alone is $ 2000. Why pay if people throw things for free.
Stevia has doubled in price, this fuck's up my mornings. Because I want the Stevia w/ monk fruit, but its not practical so I've switched to the stevia in the raw. and my coffee is like... eh. Then I'm like eh, at least I'm not fleeing my home.
Russia contributes 8% to the US market.
Also they are talking about banning Russian oil but have not yet. So the spike is oil....bullshit.

Gas is crazy expensive here in Canada too! Almost 2 dollars/litre. The war in Europe is causing a lot of economic instability all over the world.
If Biden rolled out 30 million barrels on reserve to avoid these hikes they need fine the oil companies.

Our public transportation system sucks in my area, so we can’t even try to save on gas, unless I want to ride my bike for 2 hours to come to work each morning 😖😣

I definitely have been seeing this in my part of the state also and scrap them off at every chance. But I be darn if i get rid of my toys.
I'm just glad I had to replace my catalytic converter in January. Russia has about 40% of the world's palladium reserves and the London gold exchange is banning gold from Russian refineries (although gold is fungible).
The palladium market hasn't taken that step yet, but it might.
I drive a truck that guzzles fuel. I'm seriously looking at e-bikes right now. I will totally buzz down the street looking like donkey kong on a 10 speed if it means not having my picket pillaged at the pump.

There’s a gas station close to the Stockton exit off the 99 that has lower gas. I just haven’t been out that way in a bit. I try to remember to fill up when I’m there but I rarely do lol. I usually use my Safeway rewards at the pump to save the tiniest bit, but it’s crazy how expensive and variable the prices are here!! It really depends on where you are. If you’re near a freeway, it’s probably really expensive.
