Easter
Nothing. Just kick back and unwind as usual and listen to some good music and most likely drink some beers.
Surely I can't be the only one who doesn't like family gatherings and likes cherishing moments alone.
I sauna everyday both steam and the one with hot air with wood planks
I can’t take it for longer than 15 minutes lol
But I heard you have to dip in cold water and go back in Japanese style for the real benefits
Cold water 🥶
Several hundred young people (mostly 15 – 25 yrs old) go to Hamar to sit together in a large sports hall, all having their computers with them and they play games, get to know each other and so on. And they do this for about the whole easter 24/7.
For the others this year skiing is a big thing. It's different from year to year, sometimes Easter is the first chance to have sunny weather, but this year there is still opportunity to ski some. I'll do that too, including some apré-ski 😁
Also there are some crazy things like swimming in cold water🤣At this time of year, påskeøl (easter beer) is available and people party although it isn't as popular as the winter variety.
Overall Easter is a very big holiday over here and people often take a week off. While the period is marked by several religious days and services for those who are Christian, Easter Saturday (påskeaften) is regarded as a sort of ‘rest day'. Shops are open again which close during the festive days. Also a large family dinner is common on that day even though in non-covid times quite a lot of people tend to fly to southern countries for holidays in the sun.

It will be my first one alone for many years so I’ve decided to book in for a Spa day ~ Massage, jacuzzi and sauna. The hot tub overlooks the sea😍. Afterwards i’m having dinner in a hotel. Looking forward to being pampered and waited on 😃

I’m taking my son out of state to my aunts house tomorrow for our annual Easter egg hunt and family dinner. Then Sunday he will be at his dads and I’ll be at home chilling lol

I go cause she pays 💁🏼♀️🙃 (before anyone gets their panties in a wad...she went my whole life without doing anything...like paying child support to my dad...she knows it and that's why she does it 🤷🏼♀️)

I'll be at my parents house per usual. My dad is apparently making homemade pizza so that should be interesting. Otherwise I'll probably be working on crafts while I'm over there or chilling by the pool.

Hoping Tax day being Monday doesn’t mean working Sunday.. we shall see we’re in the last minute push. Daughter is in town & wants to come over and chill Sunday after Easter breakfast with the other side of the family.

First I will go with my mothers family. My mother and her sister are both air signs and now Portuguese grandmothers, so I'm expecting lots of questions all up in my business. Last time we spent a lot of time focused on why i dont' want a man at this point in my life. So that should be fun.
Then I will spend time with my dad's family sans my dad. my cousin is smoking a brisket, hide some eggs, drink some wine, have appropriate conversations about things like home diy projects and vacations.

Just chilling in the sun with my coffee, gonna fry up some salmon for lunch.

Easter bun 🐰🐇
Aries comes for me in the morning. I am visiting mom for a few days now…
So Before he comes I am taking roast out of brine it’s in now. Drying it off, seasoning and keeping out to air dry and get all relaxed.
We probably goi g to stop for breakfast because normally I would have it ready for him but I don’t have NY bagels so we will stop for something else.
On the way to his place we will stop at dispensary and get my fav weed.
When we come to his place I will stick roast in the oven and we will smoke and talk and have ‘I haven’t seen you for 4 days’ sex. I don’t smoke weed unless I want that endless big O during and after sex. By the time we are spent - roast will be ready and need to be wrapped and resting.
I’ll try to make French mush potatoes with lots of heavy cream and cold butter and garlic spinach on a side…he is usually can eat a cow after weed and sex! And cow he will eat!
We will eat for a long time and watch House of Gucci. My choice. Hopefully it’s good. Usually it’s his classic favorites…we always sit quietly and touching hands and massaging each other…
Then it’ll be fast cleaning. Walking a dog to the park and coming back to bed…smoking listening to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd…getting in the mood or maybe just falling asleep…depends how high or low it hits us.
That’s the plan we never made. It’s just a routine when some weekend Holiday is there.
Can’t wait. My hair done, dryer is almost done…and I made cup of coffee by mistake. So I’ll stay up for a while.
And I am all out of my chocolate raspberry coffee liquor…damn! 😂😂😂
Eating a feast, and drinking large amounts of alcohol with my closest friends and family. I don't even think any of us truly care about the holiday. It's just an excuse to indulge together lol!
