Because you've chosen date!

You haven't backed up those pics?

I had it happened once. Now I back up sometimes using Dropbox.

Sorry. We learn. ?

If you've ever backed up your system or have had it on auto back up go to, system preferences -> time machine. This will give you your last backup which should contain the files that were deleted.

Uh, this is what backing up pics is for. People need to stop using a mobile device and "cloud" storage as the way to back up and store pics.

"OH NOES MY PHONE DIED/GOT STOLEN/LOST. ALL MY PICS WERE ON IT!!"

...why the fuck would you do that?

However, it seems as if both camps (Android and Apple) are failing miserably with updates and just pushing shit out without quality control in what it can do to phones before thoroughly tested. It used to be something like barely yearly would be new OS updates. Now it's like every year there's a new version with monthly or nearly monthly security updates, all of which are being produced hastily that wreak some serious havoc on people's phones.

I haven't updated my phone to the current OS, despite getting it first dibs since it's a Google phone, because it's been known to bootloop this version. ...which sucks because that's why I go Google- to get the timely updates. But they've turned into greedy pricks and just mass produce updates without really testing them and when shit goes downhill, they shrug and half ass any sort of fix. It's all about instaupdates and new OS that's bigger and better.

They've all lost sight of making quality products that were really cool and are just focusing on the "cool" factor and who can come out with the next best thing the fastest.

That said, this is why you don't trust such devices to store something as valuable as pics. That shit should be stored/backed up to something other than "the cloud" and your phone.
