~Chemistry helps solve many pressing and weighty global challenges. But it is also involved in our everyday life, in what we wear, what we write with, what we eat, what we sit on or travel in. It has that magic component and it explains many of life's little mysteries.

~"Chocoholics" everywhere will tell you that eating chocolate makes them feel good, but why?
Chocolate contains more than 300 known chemicals, some of which react within the human brain
to alter mood. One of these chemical reactions is the release of endorphins, proteins which occur
naturally in the brain to reduce pain, which in large amounts can make you feel more relaxed or
energetic.....

~Chemical warfare agents, as defined by the United National Chemical Weapons Convention, are
"any chemical which, through its chemical effect on living processes, may cause death,
temporary loss of performance, or permanent injury to people and animals". Chemical warfare
agents can belong to many different groups such as vesicants, blood agents, and nerve gases.
Vesicants include mustard gases, which cause blistering of skin, eyes, and lungs....

Was it? I heard his story somewhere and it stuck with me, never bothered to check. But there are other similar stories (strange disappearances), like the plane full of people where they were heard on radio screaming, 'we are entering a white bubble!' or something along those lines. They were never seen again nor were there any signs of a crash. Also the story of a guy captured by camera entering his office building (with only 1 entrance) and was never seen again. Google strange disappearances for more creepy stories.
