Guys and all the women they've slept with?

Anyway, why the hell do guys go on about how many women they sleep with and continue to talk about how much they view women as sex objects? It's one thing when it's around buddies, but when there are women present? Do they even realize that this is basically a turn off and/or offensive?

I saw this from someone over the weekend and it was amusing/baffling at the same time.

Talked about the strip clubs he went to. Went on and on about the kinds of strippers he saw and was amazed at what they could do.

Talked about the chick he kept around on a trip to Vegas, solely for the purpose of having sex with, which he did, and proceeded to talk about what a dumb bitch she was.

Talked about how his buddies hit it with some cougars and went into detail about how they didn't go all the way, only "knuckles deep."

By this point I was almost offended and kind of disgusted. I couldn't help but wonder what he thought he was accomplishing by talking to us about this crap. Again, had it been all his buddies, whatever. But there was me and a friend's girlfriend there (and I hope to god the girlfriend's kids didn't hear any of this and they were asleep upstairs).

But it's not just him, I've seen some guys do this around women and I find it bizarre because it's more likely to turn a woman off (well, the ones with standards). I see no sexual prowess, I'm seeing penicillin shots. Maybe he figured there wasn't any harm involved since has no interest in any of the females present...?

I've also noticed these tend to be the same guys who swear they strike out with women and is why they can't get into a relationship...

Eh I'm a definite kiss and tell. I tell my closest friends (including my platonic guy friends) my sex details but it's only in good fun and because I like it so much. It's never rude and downgrading to the guy in any way. I talk how great I felt and romantic blah blah.

My bf however doesn't talk about our sex life...not even to his friends. He says he doesn't want his friends picturing me that way -shrugs-.

But I agree, talking like that about girls and being disrespectful (I've had male "friends" talk about girls like that to me and send me pics of them naked etc) I would be horrified if a guy talked like that about me!

To friends in private, sure. But keep if classy and respectful!!!

It's easy, its the same as "love/hate." Yeah he repulses you in public bug key him turn on the charm and persistence and he'll get you. Why? Confidence. The fact that he's willing to do that makes him an asshole and yes assholes always get the most women.

My bf admitted he would act like an ass on purpose to get some women because they WANTED that. Act nice and they got turned off or rolled their eyes. But these were not women he respected or would consider girlfriend material. It's sad but true...guys will sleep with sluts, but they don't like them and don't want to date them.

He never acted like that with me because he knew I wasn't like that and he respected that I made him wait for intimacy and liked me even more because of it. He's a total gentleman.

Haha, right? I mean maybe that's why I don't get it. As females, if we were to talk like that, it'd garner negative attention and guys only seeing us good for sex and not having any interest aside from that.

The only thing I could think of is that these guys think it's showing what "studs" they are...?

He says he will always try; but if a woman is going to have sex with him on the 1-2nd date then chances are, she's prob done that with multiple other guys and she has automatically put herself in the "hook up" "fwb" category. More can develop, sure...just not super liklely.

But if it's like me where I pushed his hand away from just my boob on 2nd date it leaves them wanting more and they respect you.

Now I'm not talking go crazy here; if I was a guy and a girl made me wait months I would get annoyed and think of her as a tease after I had taken her on numerous dates and showed my interest/respect, and clearly I am not after just sex.

I say at least 3rd, 4th date. Everyone has different time lines though. I waited until like the 8th-9th date.

I think hearing themselves talk out loud about this stuff is an ego boost. But what it really does is speak volumes of their insecurities.

That part about the guy who had that girl he kept around at Vegas and called her a dumb bitch. I would've asked what that would make him, since he is the one who partaked in the action with Ill intentions .

Yeah, agreed. Bragging of any kind speaks volumes about the level of their insecurity. I know that this guy in particular has insecurities and doesn't always do well with the ladies.

And in regard to the Vegas thing, omg I DID almost say something. I had to bite my tongue because I didn't want to start anything since we all were having a pretty good time regardless of his stories. But that VERY same thought came to mind. So did that "guys banging chicks they don't respect" thread. "LOL SHE'S A DUMB BITCH." ..uh, you do realize that YOU slept with her? That makes you equally dumb..?

I can add to this by saying it is an ego booster and insecurity thing for those men because one of my friends which this a fact im about to state slept with over 70 girls and he never ever brags about that to us or around a female the most he will say is " I f*** a lot of b*****s" that's all he says and me im pretty good with woman as well but I don't ever come out my mouth to say that especially that stupid shit about that guy having a girl with him just for that reason in vegas sounds stupid if I heard that out allowed id address because its pointless those who feel they have something to prove when in doubt really have a lot to prove because they have nothing. so in reality those guys probably never did any of that because a real man does his work on the down low.

and yes those are the ones who cant keep a girl because my friend they slept with 70 plus woman doesn't even know what that means but that's only because a girl broke his heart real bad a long time ago and he never had the strength to move past it so it made him like he is and from a guys standpoint its nothing wrong with that but his fear of commitment shows a lot and no just with females in life.

Most guys these days are trash, and most women these days are whores.

It's rare to find a man or a lady ANYWHERE anymore. It's akin to finding a diamond in the mine when one finds a real lady or a gentleman.

This fact especially holds true for anyone under age 30, regardless of male/female.

I wouldn't be surprised, tbh. It's a trend I've noticed with guys who are like this. They had some sort of rough history somewhere and BAM, they turn into gross manwhores to sort out their issues.

To each their own, but there are far more mature, safer ways to get through that stuff. I just lol because some of these guys seem to think it's impressive when most normal people would be like "wtf that's just gross."

And if they are indeed doing this to get women, it's just going to repeat the vicious cycle of not finding decent ones. Then they turn around and whine about how ALL women are terrible, blah blah whatever.

I don't judge on a guy's pasts.

My best friend, she has been with 100 men but is a good person. She had a wild streak in high school.

I have known guys that had been with 1-2 women then went CRAZY after a break up. I also know guys that had been with a lot in the past but had greatly grown up and kept their numbers down over the years and were interested in finding the real thing.

It's not so much about what you did, but who you are as a person currently and what you stand for.

Just like "Once a cheater always a cheater". I agree that applies with SOME cases, but not all etc.
