Have you guys heard of this secret government operation called HAARP that allows the government to supposedly control the weather?! They're saying it's most likely responsible for all those weird trumpet-sounding noises being heard all over the world.

If not look it up on Google and/or Youtube & let me know what you think?!

I find it extremely interesting & very creepy! THE U.S. GOVERNMENT IS 1 BIG SNAKE!

I have, i don't buy it. prove it.

Well there's no doubt that it's real. The U.S. Secretary of Defense released a 900 page declassified document confirming its validity & admitting that although it is not their "intention" to control the weather, it just so happens that this HAARP technology actually can do so.

The question isn't whether or not it's real. The question is whether or not they're being honest about WHY they created it

Is this going to lead to the "The United States is stocking up on black coffins" - Jesse Ventura discussion? It is, one of my most favoritestestest!

And I'm not being mocking.... I do love reading about all the conspiracy theories (I am on DXP after all), I just don't know where I actually fall in the belief spectrum. I think I treat it like I treat religion.... it's all just circumstantial unless you have valid proof agnosticism.

Buuuuuut, I do love discussing it!

There are many. Do your own research & see for yourself. Again, the U.S. government admits that it's real & that the ability to control/manipulate weather is just 1 of its many functions.

I don't think we'll ever know the main intention behind it until something crazy happens or until someone from the inside snitches. That's how the government has always worked. They wanna create these potentially catastrophic projects, but yet tell us taxpayers to mind our business!

I was just curious what others thought about this

The reason this even got the attention of conspiracy theorists is b/c world-renowned scientist have examined the declassified report & voiced their concerns.

They are concerned that the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages of the project.

They have concluded that the kinds of technology the government used to create this enormous project also has the capability to control/manipulate weather, tear holes in the atmosphere, cripple all satellite communications around the world & release radioactive ways that can impact the brains of human beings in the area of where they are testing this project. Yet the government is claiming in this document that their "intent" is to test/research the earth's ionosphere.

The government also acknowledged & admitted that the scientists findings were absolutely correct.

Conspiracy theorists got ahold of this & went crazy! The only reason this caught my interest is b/c for once conspiracy theorists don't have to prove that something is in fact real! The government F'd up by releasing that document & confirming its validity & it's capabilities as if no one would notice that it says POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: Can cause global change in weather & fry the brains of humans! WTF

Yeah I heard of it. It is strange that the weather gets odd now and again.

The last date they admitted to testing the technology was in Arkansas 36 hours before all those thousands of birds suddenly fell out of the sky.

In any of the other areas where they've admitted (and that's just what they were willing to admit) to testing the technology just so happen to have severe weather abnormalities or animal casualties within 24-48 hours after the testing has been completed. Coincidence?

I don't know about the 900 page report, but there is little question that HAARP exists and that they can alter/create weather, and if you don't buy that.... that at least the intention is there. I did a little digging (let me say I haven't looked over these articles with a fine tooth comb, just went looking for actual sources.

Krys, I understand where they are coming from though.... when a conversation like this begins you REALLY want to know who you are dealing with.... there are FAR TOO MANY people who will swear to you all of the things they KNOW to be true just because they saw it in a documentary or on a conspiracy website.

I typically vet people pretty hard too in the beginning of a discussion like this, just to make sure I am still dealing with someone levelheaded who won't just throw random shit on the table and call it fact.

I wish you lived in Houston! My friends and I used to have dinner parties where we would watch conspiracy documentaries and then chat about it over food. Then we'd divide up all of the sources (or go in search of our own) and get back together a few weeks later to discuss what we'd learned.

I really enjoyed those nights! Makes me want to plan another!

You're putting words in my mouth. I never said anything was "inappropriate." I said do the research for yourself like you would have to ANYWAYS once you are provided with the links

You've got the links now so why are we even still discussing getting the links?! Now that you've got them, do your OWN research! If after you do your own research you feel that I'm full of sh***t then fine, but take your own advice & prove that you've done the research before you question my credibility

Let me repost this one more time, if only to say, this can be a fun topic! Can we keep the trolling down and the jabs and insults at a minimum? Not take things personally?

Understand that there is a divide between skeptics and believers and it doesn't have to be filled with pitchforks?

Can we, simply, just talk about this in non-dxp type style ?

Asking too much?

Thank you! I didn't create this thread to argue. I created it to discuss opinions AFTER each of you have done your own research like I stated in the very 1st post.

They want me to prove that I have eyes, can read & have the intelligence to find research when they can't even prove that they have those same abilities themselves lol

Anywho, I think it's interesting that scientists are torn on this issue. Conveniently, the scientists who work for the government inside this HAARP operation are backing up the government swearing that the government isn't up to anything sneaky. But scientists on the outside who are just as educated & skilled in their field believe otherwise.

Stop being a lazy ass bitch & you can find these links your got damn self.

I'm asking people who have the sources to share the information. I have no intention of delving into the internet spending several hours on a subject I know little of.

Your unhelpful attitude and Krys' has been duly noted. Thankfully Gems has the rationale and maturity to understand what is being asked.

Think about what you just said. You called me "unhelpful" even though I posted the links (links that were DIFFERENT than hers, so it's not like I piggybacked off of hers). So one, I did what I was asked, just not in 10 seconds like you wanted. And two, you just admitted that you're not in the mood to do any research, which implies that you would've still been lazy to read whether the links had been posted or not!

So the problem isn't that I posted the link 10 seconds after you wanted them. The problem is that you came to a thread w/o the intention to add any constructive criticism or opinion b/c of your OWN laziness to do some reading.

You have said 1,000 times that you think I'm an idiot, yet what I find idiotic is that you keep inviting yourself over to the house of someone you consider an "idiot." Besides your name is Clueless Cancer. Why would anyone take seriously anything said coming from a person who calls herself CLUELESS Cancer? lol Nice choice of name, btw =)

Two things to address here.... fuck make that three....

Krys, it's not uncommon for someone to ask a person making statements to back it up. Ever see speech and debaters going down the school hallways pulling those huge Rubbermaid tubs? Those are all of their sources, at any time during a debate a fact can be called into question and that person must present their supporting evidence. In fact, I don't think it's something you should meet with opposition, but rather appreciation because it means the person you're talking to is someone with a rational head on their shoulders and won't believe something JUST because you told them it's so. Also, as at least one other person has said, they didn't know anything about the topic, but it appears they are open to discussing it.... so what's the harm in pointing them in the right direction?

Second point, I FUCKING LOVE WHEN SCIENTISTS ARGUE..... If I could get Stephen Hawking and Christopher Hirata to have it out..... fuck me, I'm pretty sure my brain would implode!

Finally, I brought my dog to work today and made the mistake of letting the shop guys feed her some leftover beans and rice.... she's now farting. A LOT.

And amazingly now that you've gotten what you've asked for, you suddenly have nothing to offer to this thread. Just like I figured! You came here to argue. You made it seem like you'd be open & willing to discuss this topic once you got the link. I posted the link. I'm sure many others will include their own links, as often DOES happen when there's more than 1 link to be found in the 1st place. So You got what you asked for & now you're suddenly quiet! What happened? Where is your expertise on this topic now that you've gotten your "proof?"......*Crickets* Haha the irony

I have a problem spending hours dodging through internet sites typed by a hobo.

This made me LOL, no my coworkers think I'm farting and laughing to myself over here... great.

Anyway, too funny because when I went looking for articles for you guys I specifically tripped over about nineteen "infowars" and "david icke" and the like.... they really wanted to draw me in.

I do, however, know better than to use that as my source....

So, here's this dude who's convinced all the world's evil people are lizards and has made A SHIT-TON of money from it, but yeah, he's totally a credible source. 🙂

Just b/c YOU were too lazy to look/dig on the government website doesn't mean that the information isn't there! YOU GOT YOUR DAMN LINK! That's on YOU if you're too lazy to read once you've been given the proof. That's on YOU, not me!

You asked for proof & you got it! And now that I've shut you up, you're trying to save face & your only argument now is that I shouldn't automatically assume things about someone even though you just automatically "assumed" a lot about me (i.e. calling me childish & immature). So take your OWN advice.

I was never upset that people asked for the info. Once I saw that people were refusing to do their own research, I said ok & went & got the F'ing links! I did what I was asked! And yet the only thing you got is "Well it took you too long?"! Give me a F'ing break! I provided the links! I did my part! Now YOUR part is to F'ing read it! If you weren't gonna read then don't ask for the links!

Yeah, it's funny that now you're not answering any of MY questions b/c you realize that you sound silly for accusing someone of not providing something that they just provided! You're still holding on to trying to question the credibility of this post even though you've been given proof that it's legit. Now it's suddenly MY fault b/c YOU are too lazy to open the links & F'ing read them for yourself! I can't read for you babe. Damn!

Anywho, moving on...

They're saying that they're seeing major coincidences in the fact that there just so happens to be some large catastrophic weather event or masses of dead animals shortly after these HAARP testings are done, coincidentally in the exact same area of where the test was conducted.

Sometimes conspiracy theories are far-fetched but it seems that they're onto something this time!

I am reading around on different opinion articles and I came across this little quote and thought I'd share, lol:

"I have been assured, by everyone from Ph. D. s to poets, that HAARP is: An Ionospheric heater, A research tool, A military test bed, A tax- subsidized boondoggle, A directed-energy weapon, A communication system for submarines, A way to improve satellite links, A planetary x-ray machine, A plot to depopulate the Third World, A means of creating power blackouts at will, Electronic warfare, Tesla's wireless power transmission, Tesla's secret death ray, Searching for space aliens, Killing space aliens, Killing off militias, Enforcing the New World Order, Weather modification, CIA mind control, Brain wave modification, The end of HF radio, The end of wildlife in Alaska, The end of the human race, The end of Earth itself. Now, this is pretty good for one transmitter. I think the last experimental radio that attracted this kind of attention was built by Marconi."

Legit, I almost peed my pants.

Krys, have you come across anything that lays out the testing schedule of the HAARP facility in Alaska so that we can compare it to the strange events? I have searched, but I only find conspiracy websites... do you have something more substantial or something that can point me in the right direction?

Wow this thread went bad real fast

Of course it did. True intentions behind someone coming to a thread are revealed right after they get the info they wanted. The 2 main culprits here who demanded these links have brought nothing constructive or really ANYTHING to say regarding this topic. I don't go to threads to argue or to attack the credibility of the OP. I go to discuss what is being asked to discuss. If it's about something I need proof of 1st, then I'll ask for proof, but then SHUT the F up when I actually get it, & then from there, add something constructive to the conversation like I swore was my original intention anyways

Krys, we threw a lot of information at them.... any chance they might be taking the time to read and reflect?

In the mean time, maybe we can discuss the issue? Like... why don't we dig out dates and times for the testing vs strange events?

When and if those people have reviewed what we have provided this far if they are interested we will have more evidence to show them, maybe they will even have something of their own....?

Ok, let's start with the birds.... here's a link that seems to says there is at least some tie between an event on a weather radar and the time of death of the birds.

http://www.thv11.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=137071&provider=top% 253Fbctid% 253D740975032001">Little Rock News Station Report About Weather Radar

Full link in case the html doesn't work: http://www.thv11.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=137071&provider=top% 253Fbctid% 253D740975032001

So from here.... how can we time that specific time of the blip on the weather radar to HAARP? Is there something out there that documents HAARP was doing something at that time?

Utpian: Why don't you take your own advice & respond to the topic I created, or are you just gonna join the train of people who came here to attack me, but then once they got their proof, suddenly disappeared? I'll get to @Gems when I get to her!

Anywho, @Gems: I saw the conspiracy websites 1st too but when I went digging on NASA's website, I saw that some of their own scientists were stating their own concerns about how these incidents seem to be connected to HAARP testing.

They haven't been able to prove that there's a correlation but they strongly believe that HAARP is the culprit. NASA is saying now that they shut HAARP down in May 2013. Hmmm But it doesn't matter b/c there's another facility just like it with similar capabilities in Puerto Rico & Russia. And those are just the ones they're telling us about O_o

Then why is the haarp area is non accessible? Or you can't find it on the Google maps?

Idk why it's non accessible, but many government operations aren't available to the public or to anyone not working on the inside. When I saw all the security they have around AREA 51 I was like holy sh***t!! lol

There's a few secret military bases around the U.S. too that can't be found on google maps for security reasons. *Shrugs

Who are some of these scientists? Would you be able to pull up the same information and share it?

Was it NASA scientists or some of the outside scientists commissioned by the military?

@Gems: Some of these scientists publish their opinions/findings/research on their own private blogs & websites. Some go to the media. I've seen the ones who have gone to the media & have inspired news stories about it. Conspiracy theorists are not only going off of the public information posted on these government websites & the public-made opinions of these scientists, but also off of the power of media when they on occassion try putting the pieces together themselves during live broadcasting.

It's such an intriguing topic b/c I doubt we'll ever really know all the details. All the scientists on the outside will always be discredited b/c well they are on the "outside."

To answer your question...some of these outside scientists have the radar to detect the specific kinds of waves the HAARP project puts out. These radars are spread out across the country & cover large mass areas. I saw the news clip where 1 of the scientists was showing us his radar & what it did/looked like when the kinds of waves that HAARP uses were released into the ionosphere. So they know whenever HAARP testing is being done, & they then go & compare it to the timing of any unusual weather or animal related events at around the same timing.

Their biggest problem will be proving it!
