Can't remember the saying ..... a hair off the dog that bit you .... or something ...... anyway, it amounts to taking a drink of the alcohol that got you drunk, and the hangover will go immediately away.

Oh no, I don't even think I want to touch wine for a while lol. On the other hand, next week is Passover, so I guess I'll be doing that anyway.

Let the??hangover?? stay as a serious alarm to you drinking habit. You are Virgo and probably take any advices into your โ€”lets experiment with it ideology??.

When you find a cure, your alcohol consumption will rise.

I live near the forest, and the thing that works best for me every time is to find a cold mountain creek in which to immerse myself- you have to go all the way under and stay in for a while. Sucks the excess heat right out of your body. You can practically feel the steam coming off of your head. Works like a charm. If you live in a city, then maybe an icy shower would replicate it (but that sounds unpleasant).

The potassium in a banana should help settle your stomach and replace some electrolytes lost during your little binge. If you have any B vitamins take those too. And water will help to rehydrate you - much of a hangover is the result of dehydration - Powerade or Gatorade is best though. And, take Advil or Motrin rather than Tylenol (the combination of Acetaminophen and alcohol in your system can have a negative effect on your kidney's to the point where it can cause kidney failure). However, Midol works good too - the caffeine acts as a vascular constrictor and will work better to relieve your headache (coffee works too - the mild diuretic effects are offset by other fluids, so don't worry about becoming more dehydrated).

All in all, NEXT TIME, drink a few glasses of water and take some Advil BEFORE you go to bed! This should help ward off the possibility of a hangover (or minimize the effects at the very least).

or just go with the hair of the dog - doesn't matter if it is the same, 2 beers usually does the trick, or a couple Bloody Mary's (with the health benefits of the vitamins in the tomato juice or V8 that you body needs replenished), or coffee and Baily's (easier to stomach sometimes and again, the coffee will be good for the headache) ๐Ÿ˜‰

What are some methods that seem to work best to get rid of one?

Lots of water -Bread -Asprin -SLEEP!

But you def. shouldn't over eat though b/c too much food on an already queezy stomach can make things worse. And so can certain medicines.
