Hi everybody...

Im from the continent of africa for those who dont know. Africa is known for many different things, poverty, its wildlife and beautiful scenery. But what is not known about africa is the use of 'black magic'. This is done with herbs, taken from trees and other wild plants from the forest, not parsley, lol. These can be used to make one wealth (with consequences, ofcourse), be loved (love potions), just about anything really. Now here in south africa we have a daily newspaper (Daily Sun) and reports mostly stories of people cursed/experiencing some form of black magic. And im gonna share some with u guys..

* A university student started dating a guy from nigeria because he had money (drug dealer) and she also kept her old time boyfriend. In short, she was a two-timer. The nigerian did everything for her including paying for her fees and rent- gave her pocket money too (thousands of rands). In return she bought gifts for her true love. The nigerian heard about this, set up a trap and caught them together. They admitted playing him and she dumped him on the spot. Now they say he took revenge by putting a curse on her, a curse like no other (in her vagina). It giggle each time she tried to sleep with a man. The laughter was described as (HE-HE, kind of mocking).

* Police are still looking for this one. When people use magic to get rich they then inherit some kind of an animal, sort of like a totem. Some get rats, snakes, etc. A guy has been going all over south africa and other southern african countries sleeping with girls in order for his 'totem' to reward him with money. When he sleeps with these girls his sperm turns to maggots inside them. These maggots feasts only on cow liver, no liver then they feast on u. After sleeping with the girls, he gives them a suitcase with money and a note inside that explains to them what to do. Once they get home then the game of stuffing one's vagina with liver starts. Many have kept quiet and died in silence. Only a few came forward and let their maggots be photographed. There was even a video or photo on the net showing exactly how they ate. I saw a photo from a friend's phone, dont have it anymore in my phone.

*Another girl, a neighbor told me a story of how they went to a casino and met some guys who bought them rounds of drinks and gambling money. When the night ended she left with one of them. At the parking lot, the guy told her to wait outside the car while he did something inside the c

Shit my post got cut..Anyways, she waited outside his car while he argued with something invisible, she thought he was on speaker phone. He finished, called her in and they drove away in silence with only a buzzing of a big green fly. She tried to whack and he told her not to. Weird. The got to his house and they fly followed. He searched for his keys while mumbling something with the fly furiously buzzing over his head. She thought she heard him say, 'she is coming in, im sick of u'. She chalked it up to alcohol. She says she then heard a rumbling noise and and audible angry deep voice seemingly coming from the wall replied and said, 'no she is not, i dont like her!'. She turned and ran the hell out of there. Black magic totems are known to be possessive and controlling.

Please note that NOT everybody uses magic in africa, there's good and bad all over the globe.

For some reason kenya popped to mind. Yeah, im from the land of vuvuzela, mate. Any weird stories from where ur originally from? People flying on teaspoons? Lol. I read about that one a while back. Old lady found inside a place surrounded by an electric fence, on a way to a witchcraft meeting, she claimed. There were 11 of them on the teaspoon and she fell. Lmao

Here is another one.. A popular church here in south africa was accused of practising witchcraft, satanism when a lady reported an incident durina a night virgil at the church. She claimed that while the members of the church were praying, she heard a cry of an infant. The louder the cry, the more they prayed and seem trance-like. She stood up and went to the direction of the crying-saw nothing but steps leading to what looked like a cellar. What she saw there was a giant snake that cried exactly like a baby, with its mouth wide open i must add. She ran up the stairs in horror and fell scraping her elbows and knees. Some elders of the church saw her and ordered her to be caught. She claimed she prayed and got strength to run faster and escaped. Saw a car hailed it and went straight to the cops. She told her story, showed her injuries, but when they went to the church the cellar had vanished

Yeah- tokoloshe. Its claimed to be a short hairy thing that is sent to eavesdrop on every plan u make about the future and then it goes and reports it to its master. The master then do everything in her power to block every move.

There's also stories of the 'undead'. U die but ur not real dead, they keep u as a slave. Your family buries u but its not really u- a designed copy of yourself. We are told to cover ourselves with blankets head to toe when we sleep so we wont be sketched while sleeping. A very few number of undeads have been returned, but are said to never function as before. Dont know any personally, just heard some stories. At night they are set free and told to return at dawn to their keepers. They are made to carry a herb that prevents them from going home and have something in the mouths that makes them unable to speak. A guy who hung himself 4 years back is said to knock at his house at every night and make gestures asking for a cigarette. His mother leaves him a 20 on the window. They tried to catch him numerous times, but they say he has supernatural strength and is jet-plane fast. Haiti is famous for this one btw.

That story of the dingo carrying away that baby was heartbreaking, but the fact that the mom was blamed and spent 3 years in jail is incredible

A West African man name Krante was on trial for thievery. The case was going astonishingly bad. He knew he was guilty and was to be convicted shortly. He goes to his brother for advice. The brother sends him to the local witch doctor. The man is desparate, so he pays the witch doctor. Then the witch doctor uses a variety of herbs coupled with the blood sacrifice of a chicken, followed by chanting and incantations. Then the doctor rings a bell. This conjures the Spirit that rules the land. The Spirit enters into Krante. Krante starts to experience violent convulsions as the Spirit enters inside him. The Spirit then asks Krante why he is being disturbed and what he wants. Krante relays his problem to the Spirit. The next day Krante goes to court. The court room is in disarray as the plaintiffs and their lawyers engage in bitter dispute. The case is quickly thrown out. Krante is a dear friend of mine.

Linda, a woman from Benin in West Africa, had her television set stolen. She quickly finds a culprit for the thievery in a local fifteen year child named Benjamin. In a fit of rage she wants swift and brutal revenge. She visits the local witch doctor. The witch doctor agrees to exact revenge and he demands payment. Blood sacrifices are made as the Spirits are conjured up. Then she is required to sleep in the grave of a previous witch doctor who will help her in the casting of the curse. After that the curse will be complete. The next day Benjamin unexplicably goes insane. He tears off his clothes and wanders out into the street aimlessly. One week later Linda finds out the real culprit for the thievery of her television set, but it is too late. That was twelve years ago. To this day Benjamin can still be seen from time to time wandering the streets of a city in Benin- naked, disoriented, dishevelled, probably talking to himself, living in a vile cest pool. He has no idea who he is or where he is from. This is the curse of the black magic. Fiction- you say? Benjamin was a dear childhood friend of mine.

Wow DDD, i enjoyed both your stories and they do those kind of things here too. As a matter of fact, u can go to a witch doctor and have 'spirits' put inside u using herbs and 'white' chicken and its gall. They are said to protect u against evil spirits and they forewarn u of any impending danger. But u become violent and aggressive as a result. I had mine removed 9 years ago. Here we call those spirits, amakhosi, mandawu, etc.

The spirits with benjamin, we call them 'amafufunyana', its like being possessed, very evil. They put them on u using soil from graves, then scatter the soil on a white feathered chicken which is then placed on a tombstone. When graveside ants and maggots get to the dead chicken the u become mad. But its reversable with a good witch doctor or a church. Why isnt benjamin's family helping him?

U can google 'fears of fighting muti (meaning herbs) among school children' to get what im talking about in regards of 'amakhosi'.

everything in australia is a bit "different", personally scary stories scare the baby jesus out of me so i don't really know any. A dingo took a baby once in Aus. That's about it.
