How's your sense of direction?

Mine is horrible 😢

I'm fine as long as I have a map (even a non-detailed paper map), but when it comes to sensing which way is north/south/east/west, all I can do is guess. Even worse when inside buildings. Maybe it's a memory issue, I go somewhere, make a bunch of turns, then forget how I got there in the first place.

How about you? Any tips to be more naturally attuned with a sense of direction?

I can typically tell you the direction within a few degrees.. inside or out.

Mercury in Scorpio (5th house)

1) Did you grow up in a big city or in a small town?

2) Did you play outdoors a lot as a kid?

3) Are you right or left handed?

Yes, same here. If I have a map/schematic/plan, I'm good. Otherwise I am guaranteed to get lost in a new area.

Sense of direction? I know my left and right like every other "normal" person I guess. lol. But I got myself a GPS when driving to places I've never been.

Yea, directions relative to me I'm fine with. It's stuff like gauging where absolute North is from where I'm standing that I can only guess at.

I learned a trick, because I have a problem with it when put on the spot.....

Put your hands out in front of you....the pointy finger and thumb on your left hand forms a 'L' on your left hand.

Otherwise I guess and it's a 50/50 chance I'm wrong and I'm usually wrong lmao

😕 ..when im given directions I can follow, like if it's a road/building..

But it's when I get nervous, i lose my sense of direction ..more like I lose it at local - human level, right hand, left hand, misplacing things, the one that happens frequently is, when a person is walking in opposite direction to me, i get confused - will they go this way/that way, from afar itself I get confused, especially if the path isn't clear or wide enough..and when they come near, there's an awkward *this way or that way* thing we both do.. I end up confusing the other person. Its funny and embarrassing sometimes.

Haha sense of direction is off a tad bit. I do need hmm Google maps at times. Only if it's a new area I'm not familiar with. I hate getting lost. I hate huge hospital too.
