I can read a person

By the everyday shoes they wear...

I know it sounds weird but it's never let me down!

Anyone else do this?

A walking or going out shoe!! Not work related shoes... 😄

I don't know about "read" a person but I am aware that I do JUDGE people a lot by their shoes: not just how clean they are (important to me as a Virgo) but also the design and how new they look. Most shoes seem to be dull or ugly but sometimes I see some elegant/impressive ones. I know a Taurus woman who is quite well-off who (not surprisingly) wears very classy expensive-looking shoes (and purses)and I must say that this is something that I admire about her.

I walk around barefoot whenever possible. I take my shoes off at the front door. If i gotta run to the gas station to get cigarettes or something fast, I'll frequently go barefoot.
Shirt and tie for work so sneakers and barefoot don't fly. I wear plain black dress shoes to work (wtf is the velcro in the one pic lol?). When I'm not working and have to wear shoes, I wear those sneakers.

The shoes I normally wear (and am wearing at the moment) are actually tough black leather work boots but I keep them in good condition (cleaned and polished): I am on a low income for the time being due to being out of work and do a lot of walking about so need to wear something resilient durable and weather-proof.

Don't most of you change style every season or so? I'd get bored with myself wearing the same type of shoes over and over again. Doesn't mean I don't have a preference but dayum, a man needs a little variety.

If someone has on old, worn or in your opinion 'ugly' shoes, it may have nothing to do with their personality or worth as a person. They could be poor. They could have millions, but refuse to buy expensive or fashionable shoes. They could've just worn that pair on that day that you just so happened to cross paths with them. The shoes might've been a gift. Or shoes they wear only when they're lounging around doing nothing (b/c not everybody believes in getting A-list dressed unless they're doing something A-list worthy). They could be the most awesome person in the world with or without those shoes on.

I've seen some of the most stuck up, cold-hearted and evil people wearing nice scuff-free shoes. And some of the most humble, awesome people have a few scuffs on the sides.

I see what you're saying to an extent, but I'm praying that you don't read too much into anyone based off of their shoes alone. 1 minute I could have on a scruffy pair of shoes, and 5 minutes later, I could change them before your very eyes. Would your "reading" of me actually change right then? lolol

You're on your feet a lot -- maybe for work? You seem down to earth, you are frugal and looking fashionable isn't a priority but that doesn't mean you don't like to look good. Not a very athletic person.

Suede always spells out a casually elegant person. You value the simple things in life. You are selective with your friends but have many acquaintances. You appear lighthearted but have a mysterious side. I would imagine you take good care of your relationships just like you would take care of a good pair of suede shoes. 🙂

It's not about how expensive the shoe is. It's how a person wears the shoes, the choice, the colour and so on... you can have an old pair of shoes on that you take care of.
