The fact that the cops are not pursuing this is very telling.

i mentioned this to my husband, and he said something like, it's always the family-traditional-projecting good types that you got to be worried about. Of course, he's joking around. We don't know what's REALLY going on with him. but he did portray alot of good, moral followings in his sitcom. Like how to be a good family and stay together through it all. In the sitcom, both him and his wife are doctors and they have beautiful children, beautiful home, the works.

I'm disturbed how easily people just shrug off these women's stories because that's what our culture does- excuses rape for the stupidest reasons.
I've read a few of the accounts of the victims and it's all textbook sexual predator behavior. And people are ridiculous if you think that persona dismisses such allegations. You'd be amazed what types of guys don't appear to be sexual predators. I know of someone who's a family man, known and very involved with the community. Likes to help people, is a nice person, etc.
But the dude has sexually assaulted women and targets "easy" targets (read vulnerable).
I think it's sad how much of a rape culture we really are, yet nobody really thinks of it. Any time a sexual assault victim comes forward, the first concern is that people will accuse them of lying and/or blame them. It's a rough thing to deal with and the victims usually feel humiliated, scared, etc and have a hard time discussing it or bringing it up. So when you add that to the usual reaction of our highly chauvinistic society, it's always lose-lose. It's no coincidence that this many women are stepping forward, sorry to say. It's one thing to be critical when it's one or two. But we're hitting the teens here in numbers. You can no longer ignore or make up excuses for what's obviously a serious issue coming to light.
And fuck you CC. Women like your dipshit ass saying brainless nonsense like "only hot guys should be allowed to rape" is why rape victims can't be taken seriously. You're total trash and an embarrassment to females.
I've read all the accounts from all the accusers. All of them willingly took drugs to get high while with him. Two claim their drink was spiked with drugs, one claimed she consensually continued a short term affair with him.
What I find ironic, they all felt that their career $ $ $ $ $ trumped reporting the claimed vicimizations. That was a choice each made making a burden of proof extremely difficult. They made this choice.
When you decide MONEY is more important than the horrible accounts they claim..well it speaks volumes and those witnessing this crap taking place now ARE NOT saying rape/sexual assault is ok, instead it's how the hell does one put a price over being raped/assaulted—?
One thing I'd like to see. One of the victims says she was getting ready in her green room about to appear on the "Tonight Show". She claims Bill Cosby gave her pills and then stuck his dick in her mouth. I want to see the clip of this "victim" with Johnny Carson and her interview after this horrible attack. That will sum up how EACH felt MONEY/CAREER was a priority.
He's innocent until proven guilty. Period.

it's actually way before this is all going down. there was a video done on Bill Cosby where the interviewer asked about what Hannibal Buress said about his "rapist" joke. Bill Cosby said no comment, but kept going on and on even after the camera went off. Told the interviewer don't allow that comment. And the interviewer said, something like, yeah but you said nothing and no comment. He didn't understand. who knows.

Look at the outcome of these 20some women coming forth; here we got men, as well other(brainwashed, indoctrinated)females calling them golddigging liars, wh0r.es, every accusation in the book--preemptively. Society's immediate response is to defend the man being accused rather than give credence to the alleged victims--who by the way, clearly have little/nothing to gain by coming clean with their stores.
That urban myth that women lie about rape is still rampant in our society. The stats are actually quite the opposite- the lying bitches who are lying bitches are a small minority in all the reported cases. However, the sad truth is that many cases go unreported no thanks to the attitudes displayed here by these ignorant, disgusting asshats. And the cases that ARE reported? My understanding is that rape kits are in such backlog that the cases are never seen/investigated and the rapist will get away with his (her) crime.
It's also quite sad that for being the country that we are that we have such third world/primitive thinking in regard to women's safety/sexual safety. It appears that many men (and some women, apparently) see females as 2nd class citizens/objects who have their rights shrugged off when violently assaulted in such a way.

It just goes in line with all the archaic thinking that men just CANNOT/don't HAVE to control themselves when their dick gets a tingly and women are to blame because of it. A lot of "he's not accountable" bullshit.
Normally I'd defend a man against old accusations but I think the chickens have come home to roost for ole' Bill Cosby. Too many women have come forward for me to doubt his innocence. He also paid off a bunch of women not to take it to court. Plus, anecdotally, I know a woman where I work who saw Bill Cosby feel up 2 young girls at a fund raiser she helped organize over 20 years ago. This time I believe the court of public opinion got it right.
